After signing the contract, Lucian decided to return to the Red Canyon before sunset. Richard seemed disappointed because he thought his cousin would stay longer.
However, he wasn't able to convince him to stay.
While the sisters let Medeia choose some women's clothes to take home, Lucian had a conversation with Richard.
"Why don't you stay here tonight?" Richard tried to persuade him, "It's not like your base is going to collapse if you don't come home today, is it?"
Lucian laughed softly. "Thank you for your kind offer, but I have to deliver the water supplies to Coalhaven and War Stock tomorrow," he said with a sigh, "They're hard to convince, aren't they?"
Other than the Junk Garden, the things Coalhaven and Warstock owned were more valuable, so they must have wanted Lucian to make a higher offer than Stormclad.
