Part 75: Shadow

Amidst the task of reconstructing our means of travel, we turned to the ship itself, scavenging its depths for the fragments of our water boat that had been lost in the jaws of the sea. The ship had become our temporary haven, its cabins and compartments a potential source of both shelter and sustenance. Our resourcefulness came into play as we scoured the vessel, piecing together a new boat from the parts we unearthed.

In our pursuit of making the ship our own, the captain's cabin took on a new role – a space repurposed for our needs. Among the soft creaking of the ship's timbers and the gentle swaying of the waves, Sarah, the ever-capable, dedicated herself to the daunting task of repairing the ship's engine. Yet, her formidable skill was ultimately met with the relentlessness of mechanical challenges, an obstacle that resisted easy conquest.
