--Sky's Perspective--
From the deepest pits of the Orbs of Pangea Dani and I were locked in, we were both linking our Strands together, increasing the gravity of the orbs themselves to separate Obsidia from the rest of my friends. They were gone, and it was finally time to act.
"You won't come out of these Orbs at all, will you?! You're going to sit in here like the little rat you are, aren't you?!" Obsidia screamed. She was desperate, searching for a phrase that would provoke me enough to come out.
The truth was, Cynthia's grip had weakened far too much. Her plan went up in flames, and she completely left the area to avoid me. Although I understood, it irritated me.
This entire time, I was irritated watching Obsidia slowly gain control over Faith's body. She gave up on her progress and gave into the Wrath. The problem with that is that the Goddess of Wrath, who I now knew to be Obsidia Carnivora, Incarnated into the only person in the entire world capable of uniting the bloodlines and their exclusive powers.
I can't believe I'm admitting this...but...I think Obsidia will be the toughest opponent I could ever face.
With Hikari, Avie, and Umbra freed into the world and separated, I'm given a slight chance to fight Obsidia, albeit very small, but still a chance. Even if they were separated and I had to fight off my own volition, there was a way to guarantee a win.
Faith gave into her Wrath, and her target assimilated from the parents into me...because I am a parent. I understood the context and targets she chose, and how no matter what, I would've been at the end of her chain.
"Dani...as we move forward, you should know that I plan to go all out for this fight," I told her. I began to stretch my legs.
"I want to help you, but I think I'll be more useful elsewhere. I trust you'll come back alive and return to my side easily. Your goals have changed, haven't they?" She asked me. With a smile coming from her, I couldn't help but join as I began to rotate my shoulders.
"The goal is to put an end to the Goddess of Wrath, or at least get her on a leash for now. I think this is the best way to do such a thing. And don't worry, I'll be making it out alive." I clarified. I didn't want Dani under the impression that just because it was Faith had lost herself to Obsidia, that meant it could be a suicide mission for me.
Faith is, unfortunately, a strong girl, and I couldn't hold back against her. I had to attack with my full power.
"..." I hesitated, preparing for the next move. "You want me to come out?"
Obsidia froze for a moment, not even making the sound of breathing from the silence I heard.
"Only if you feel like dying, Sky Asterio." She said to me.
At the very sound of her endearing invite, I nodded and turned to Dani in the infinite black darkness.
"Alright, I'm coming out."
The panels on the Orb of Pangea busted open, allowing me to transport myself with Strands into the real world once more.
Obsidia had made it plainly clear that she wanted my White Stone above everything else, which meant I had to be careful of giving it up on accident.
I materialized once again and stretched out my actual muscles while Obsidia waited for Dani to come out.
"She's not coming out, only me." I told her. I ran my shoulder in a circle around my body, stretching out all that I could. "I feel bad for you."
"You feel bad for me? No need, I have the ability to get anything I want. It is you that I feel bad for." Obsidia responded.
"Add it to the list, a lot of you seem to feel bad for no reason at all." I said. I stretched out my back as the last of my muscles, then whipped my neck around to practice mobility.
Tucking my shirt into the line of my pants and tying it as tight as the string could go, the blue shirt and white pants with a yellow string flapped in the wind.
It was loose clothing, purposefully made in a way that allowed me to flexibly move. I was a hundred times stronger than I used to be. It's unfortunate the one possessing the body of my daughter had to be the one to figure that out first.
"You don't think we'd destroy the Earth if we went all out?" Obsidia asked. She was vague, tilting her head with a tinge of sarcasm in her face.
"Not if I aim my attacks upward." I held my fists out, waiting for somebody to make the first move.
As my fists were out, I noticed Obsidia's hand raised into the air, and the Eternia Palm activated, sending us elsewhere.
---North America, Old Michigan---
We landed in the streets of what looked like a major town. Bridges, skyscrapers, and swaying boats filled my eyes as I quickly looked around.
"Now that we're here, we don't have to hold back anymore. No casualties will come up, and I get to fight you at your absolute maximum power. Sounds like a win-win to me, doesn't it, Sky Asterio?"
"Oh...hahaha...yeah, that does sound like a win-win." My fists exploded in Iridescent Strands, and all Incarnations activated at once.
[Incarnation of Wrath: Activated]
[Incarnation of Transfer: Activated]
[Incarnation of Healing: Activated]
And thus, the fight began.
