Survival Evolved: Incarnation

*ALL CHAPTERS ARE FREE* With little to no explanation for their wiped memory, several survivors, referred to as Arkians, wake up on a beach on what seems to be Earth. These survivors have many differences, but the most defining one is Sky; The one with a White Stone on the back of his left hand. What kind of journey will Sky undergo because of this White Stone? Survival Evolved is meant to take place through the eyes of a teenage boy (mainly), meaning that some things he doesn't pick up on or connect in his mind are done ON PURPOSE. 2. Survival Evolved often describes gore/wounds in a gruesome way. There are many scenes in which slavery, human trafficking, or torture are talked about, so read with caution!

Last Opportunity

As everything seemed worthless and hopeless, I turned to Alexia.

I just wanted some form of comfort as Illya killed us.

Shit... everybody is dead... Mitra, Eo, Myth, Boo... it's just Alexia and me.

How did this happen?

We were so prepared... weren't we? What kind of force of nature is Illya? How did she gain that much power? I had too many questions... she wouldn't answer them, would she?

No... I don't think I want an answer.

"Belle? Why are you twitching? Are you okay?"

Why do I hear voices?

Shut them up. Stop talking.

I don't want to hear anybody speak anymore. I don't want to be around anybody anymore.

I was itching. Something on my body was causing me to itch. I can feel it when I concentrate, deep inside my brain, it's an itch that can't just be satiated. Illya took everything from us... I want to ruin her.

I want to kill her.

I want to eat her flesh.

I want to murder her.

With no problem at all, I pushed my body up and slammed my foot into the ground.

"Oh? You're still going? Not without your fingers, you're not." Illya said. She put her claws to her face to scratch her cheek, and I proved her wrong.

I sliced off my arm and used the strands to tighten a saber around my elbow. Now, instead of my forearm, I now had a saber.

And the ice was covering it.

The strands rapidly flowing underneath the ice caused a weird reaction with the temperatures, and it began boiling on the outside.

"You people are too annoying," Illya told me.

"Stop talking. It's like scraping a plate with a fork. Your voice is annoying... SHUT UP!" I yelled out.

A veil of red started to cover my left eye, and only my left eye.

"You aren't serious, are you? Sensory overload?" Illya suggested, but I didn't care.

I slashed upward and cut the blades off of her claws, staring deep into her eyes. When I looked at Illya through the veil of red covering my vision, it was lessened, and the itch in my head got worse.

I clenched my teeth and ran at her.

I flipped my body, slashing at her with every possible opening I could find. I moved my body by pushing my left hand off the ground to slash and cut her open everywhere I could. Her sudden influx of strands couldn't keep up with my speed.

My hair had gone completely frigid, and my breath started to get foggy... but the more I bit into this fruit that was the temptation of killing Illya, I found myself getting warmer and warmer... this was how I survive.

I threw more spears at Illya and cut her with the boiling saber, which burned her and caused her to wince in pain.

From there, I slid by her knees, kicked them and froze them, and then punched her in the jaw.

I took it clean off of her body and pushed wind around our position.

My body felt... warm inside... something was being scratched... that itch was fading away the more I ruined her.

Illya regenerated her jaw and I came in again, took a hit from her saber, and threw my fist into her throat.

I bent her windpipe and she fell back onto the ground, falling into my trap and getting stuck under a huge glacier of ice I summoned above her.

The veil of red started to cover my right eye and I almost felt hot...

Illya broke the glacier like it was nothing and ran at me

I shot ice spikes through her body, grabbed one stuck in her head, and flipped her onto the ground.

I flipped my body and axe-kicked her skull. I didn't hit her, but I did smash the ground underneath us and sprouted vines made of ice from it.

Illya wasn't speaking, which pleased me greatly, but she was panting... and that was still too much for my mind.

I don't want to hear anything.

Illya began to open her mouth again and I concentrated on that point.

I am the master of all ice. When I was using my SIM, I didn't act like it. I want to prove it to her.

I shut her mouth with the vines and wrapped them around her head, and started boiling her head.

She quickly scraped them off and retreated with her saber pointed upright.

"I don't understand how-"

"STOP FUCKING SPEAKING!" I screamed at her.

The spears of ice shot through her body, at every single one of her joints, and began to boil even more.

She screamed and I sprinted at her with the intent of torturing her.

I plunged my saber into her chest and went straight for her heart, dragging it through that flesh like a hot knife through butter.

I gripped her throat and used my vines to cover her eyes and pull her arms off of her body.

With my arm around her throat, I squeezed, as tightly as possible. The itch in my head was finally fading away, but it wasn't completely gone.

I pulled, as tight as humanely possible... when the veil of red instantly vanished.

[ERROR: SHUTTING DOWN]

Just like that, I fell out of my fit of rage and collapsed onto the floor. All of the hidden pain came at me at once and I started screaming while holding my head.

"Serves you right you stupid bitch." Illya told me.

She kicked me in the stomach, picked me up by my collar with her hand, and threw me back toward Mitra.

I collided with the crater's wall and coughed as I lost all the air in my lungs.

Gasping for air, I found it hard to keep my eyes open. I'm not sure what just happened to me, but while there, I felt like I couldn't pull myself out...

Looking up toward Illya again, she started to walk toward me with her weird claws and spikes on her shoulder.
