How is this possible?

As soon as the voice of the Taotie clone fell, it disappeared from sight.

Even though this Taotie clone had gotten bigger, it also got much faster which seemed like a contradiction to the fact that it got bigger.

But when it reappeared, it was already in front of us.

After it appeared, it suddenly opened its mouth and there was a suction force that came over us.

There shouldn't have been anything that the Taotie clone could suck out from us, or at least that's what I thought at first. However, I soon realized that I was wrong, very wrong.

There was some kind of wispy thing that came from our bodies when we were hit with this suction force. Well, it didn't come from mine, but it came from the others who were around me.

This was something that I didn't recognize until…I realized that it almost looked like…

It was energy.

The Taotie clone was sucking the energy out of us.
