Ayla Ruthergett

As the carriage started moving, a Knight with slim build and blonde hair addressed Ubel.

"Hey. Allen, was it? My name is Gille Fograge. It's a pleasure to meet you." He smiled at the young man.

"I am Balian Gerould." The Knight next to him, who had black hair and looked very muscular, even with the armor on, said next.

"Gilford Steelshard." The last Knight, who had black hair as well, curtly stated.

"It's a pleasure to meet the esteemed Knights of Ruthergett." Ubel smiled at them.

Knights were usually granted a surname by the noble house they serve. The royal family could do so too, but that was a really rare case.

"It must be really tough for you, having lost your home. Don't worry. You will find that the Ruthergett territory, more specifically the city that the noble family is based in, Lathe, will grant you a comfortable life, maybe even more so than your village." Gille consoled.

Ubel just smiled.

"Your Lordship, there is a person sitting on the side of the road!" The coachman shouted from the front.

"Again? Let's hope it's the Young Lady this time." Grant said.

The carriage stopped and William exited from the carriage with Grant. As soon as they did that, the people inside heard William shout.

"Ayla! Thank god! What were you doing again, going out alone in the middle of nowhere?! Are you aware that there is a beast tide nearby? What would we do with your mother if something happened to you?" The lord of the Ruthergett house said with concern and anger in his voice.

"Father... I didn't find anything related to the vision I had. I was sure it was around here..." A female voice was heard.

When the other Knights hurried to exit the carriage, Ubel naturally followed them. Then he saw who the voice belonged to.

It was the girl from the image that William showed him. It seems her name was Ayla and she was his daughter.

William sighed in resignation. "Forget about that for now-"

"How can I forget about something so important!" Ayla shouted.

It seems like this was something really rare, as William and the Knights appeared shocked.

"I saw a vision about how a calamity, which could potentially endanger the whole human race, no, the whole world's population, was supposed to appear near here. I searched everywhere around this region and found nothing." The girl appeared very concerned as she exclaimed.

"You are right. However, consider how you could have been killed before this calamity was found. Then we would have no further clues and therefore no way to stop it. And what if you informed me and we came with our army? We could have potentially found this so-called calamity already." William attempted to persuade her.

"..You are correct, father. Just, when I got this terrifying vision of people dying so miserably, I rushed as fast as I could. I apologize." Ayla regained her calm and apologized to her father.

"It's fine now that you are well. Just don't do something like this again." William sighed and said.

"Young Lady! We are glad to see you are well." Grant bowed as he said.

"Guys." Ayla smiled as she saw the Knights. "Thank you for coming with my father."

"No need for that, as that is our duty." Gilford, who appeared very quiet in the eyes of Ubel, said solemnly.

Ayla giggled. And then she shifted her gaze towards Ubel and widened her eyes. She immediately stood up and asked a question

"Who is this person? From where do you know him, Father?" She muttered in shock.

The people's expression around her turned weird.

"He's just a person who we found wandering around here. He said that his village was destroyed in a beast tide so I offered for him to come to live in Lathe and he accepted. Why do you ask this?" William asked confusedly.

"...I saw him in my vision."
