Chapter 40 four weeks

Tracy and Emerald walked to the direction of the canteen , after having a cool afternoon shower , due to the fatigue of sitting down in a boring class .

They planned on waiting for the boys to show up , but emerald discouraged the idea due to some reason best known to her .

She is no longer wearing the dress she wore In the morning , she is wearing a unisex top over a blue jean which is neither tight nor baggy , Tracy is putting on her casual gown .

while they were walking , some of the guy leaning towards each other , or towards the wall looked at them lustily .

When they entered the canteen , emerald looked around if she could see the guy that has been pestering her around recently .

" Sigh,," she sighed in relief before walking with Tracy to order her meal .

" hi emerald , you haven't answered my questions yet " She heard the whisper of a voice she recognized quickly , she frowned before turning her back still frowning .

" please Tracy , excuse us for a minute , emerald will be with you shortly" Liam said to Tracy .

before leaving she stared at her friends worryingly , refusing to leave until emerald nods her head .

She sighed in disappointment before leaving to their usual spot , she kept looking at her back to see if anything was going on .

" have you thought about what I told you , and what are your answers? " Liam asked .

" I have warned you countless time without number , I don't like you and I don't want to go on a date with you " she answered after few seconds of hesitation .

"Beside is this how to ask a girl on a date , not that I would go on a date with you , even if you get the whole planet for me , you are just too annoying and arrogant , I will warn you for the last time , stop following me around " she added .

" I said I like you and I want you to be my girlfriend " He said Arrogantly despite the talk of been a gentleman when asking a girl out .

" If you don't stop following me around , I will report you to the school authorities and have you kicked out of this school " she threatened .

she thought that her threat would add some senses on Liam's head , or make him cower because of it , instead he let out a loud uncontrollable laughter .

" hahaha , kick me out of the school how funny , you mean those words, do you " he asked .

" yes I mean every single words I said , if you don't stop , I will definitely report you to the school authorities " hearing the questions from Liam , she thought he had finally fell for her threat , so she repeated it with more confidence in her words .

" and who are the school authorities ? " Liam asked .

" um?? "

" if you don't know Emerald , my father is the one who brought up the idea of building this place , my father is part of the top 3 head of this school and this country at large.." He boasted about how great his father is and how no one can hurt him including the teachers and security personnels.

".."

" so what will be your answer after hearing all that , do you wanna be a friend of mine or an enemy , or do you want to be my girlfriend , I can take care.. "

" stop there Liam , you can't take care of me , let me tell you the fact , you are not my type , and I don't want to close to you even as a friend , now leave the way I am going to eat "

" um um , I will give you 4 weeks to think over what you just said , before then if you've come to your right Senses, you can look for for me and accept my feelings for you " .

" what will you do after the four damn weeks , are you going to force my mouth to answer your flirty words or what? '' she found his presence and behavior irritating, that she planned on slapping his face very hard .

" You will see by then , for now I will leave you to anything you like , you can be with any guy for this period , but when the time elapsed , prepare to be my newest girlfriend " he leaned his face close to hers .

emerald blushed with embarrassment when she saw Liam's face close to hers , she quickly moved her face from his , so no one could see their awkward position's.

" whatever , would you mind moving you face away " she said when she saw Liam's face still leaning close to hers , even after she moved away .

" ok , i am moving it away , am taking back my words , I don't want to see any guy close to you , it is for their own safety " After taking his face away he said smirkng wickedly .

Those words made emerald swallow her dry saliva , If she hadn't heard from him, the powers his father hold in the school and the country at large , she would have planned on reporting him to the security personnel .

But now that she knows about it , she has no other way to make him stop the things that he is intending to do .

Meanwhile at the table , Tracy is almost done with her meal and emerald is still with Liam .

" I knew something was off , this morning when I saw her frowning , maybe she is in trouble , I better check what is going on with both of them " she whispered to herself , and she started walking to the place she left the both of them .

" emerald , why are you not back yet , come let's eat " she said as she appeared in the eyes of Liam and Emerald .

" yes , I am coming right away " Emerald seized the only opportunity she have , she thanked Tracy in her mind for showing up at the right time .

Both of them walked to the table leaving Liam standing . Liam did nothing to stop the two girls that were walking out of his sight .
