Chapter 34: Checking on Duty

"Oh, how come you're so tough? Three guys couldn't even take you down, and you made it look so easy?" Walking down the main road, waiting for a cab, Michelle asked Li Yifei curiously.

Li Yifei blinked and said, "You forgot I used to be security, didn't you? I've also spent time in the military before, where I got some training. Those three thugs had been drinking; they couldn't even stand straight, so naturally, they were no match for me."

"Oh, I'm really lucky you were there, otherwise, I would've been in deep trouble," Michelle said, shuddering at the thought of being surrounded by three hoodlums.

"Maybe it's just my bad luck being so great. Normally, you wouldn't run into such thugs, but the one time you have dinner with me, we bump into them."

Michelle giggled again and said, "It does seem that way. You're really funny when you talk."
