Beat up Hades

A roughly thick golden lightning pillar descended from the sky, and at some point, Laxus transformed into lightning, striking directly above Hades with a bolt of lightning.

Hades raised a single hand, conjuring a magic formation that deftly intercepted the lightning pillar. However, this was merely a negligible strike, as successive attacks followed.

Calvin wielded dual blades, swinging with force. Two crescent-shaped waves of blade energy shot out and slashed at Hades. On the left, Mira clasped her hands together, and a black torrent gathered, transforming into an endless surge of darkness, rushing towards Hades.

Hades' gaze sharpened as he bellowed loudly. A tremendous surge of power erupted from his body, dispersing Mira's magic. Immediately after, he extended both hands, releasing two clawed magical chains that precisely caught Calvin's blade energy, then flicked the energy towards Elucia on his right.

Elucia, composed, swiftly changed into the Armor of Sonic Leopard, a sexy leopard-print armor, wielding two large short swords. Her figure flickered like a ghost, and in the blink of an eye, she appeared in front of Hades, thrusting the short swords like venomous snakes towards his heart and forehead.

Just as the short swords were about to pierce Hades, a demon made of earth suddenly sprang forth, turning into a shield and blocking Elucia. Although the blades pierced through the demon, they got stuck within its body, unable to move further.

Hades chuckled, aiming his palm at Elucia, about to cast a spell.

In an instant, a lightning bolt swiftly streaked by, and a knee appeared right in front of Hades, slamming harshly into his nose, sending him flying backward.

With his nose injured, even someone as formidable as Hades had to yield to physiological reactions, teardrops moistening his eyes, further fueling his anger.

With a sudden wave of his hand, Heavenly Light of a Hundred Rules instantly appeared, far larger than before. Radiance blazed forth, and the magic formation immediately erupted.

Calvin's gaze sharpened, immediately plunging a blade into the ground. Two gems on the island emitted bright lights, conjuring a miniature protective shield right in front of him, laboriously withstanding the impact.

Elucia hurriedly donned the Armor of Adamantine, clapping together the huge shields she held in both hands. Mira, who had flown behind Elucia without anyone noticing, prepared for everything, and the magic formation burst forth.

Elucia's Armor of Adamantine could withstand even the Magic Compression Cannon, let alone the dispersed power of Heavenly Light of a Hundred Rules. However, even so, it consumed a lot of her magical energy.

The only one who didn't make any defensive moves was Laxus. Relying on his robust physique, with a few dragon scales floating on his face, his fists crackling with lightning, he went on the offensive.

"Lightning Dragon's Jaw Strike!"

Boom!

The tremendous force caused a wave of air, devastating the surroundings into ruins. Rocks were blown away, trees uprooted, creating a scene of desolation.

The three exhausted all means to resist this wave of attacks.

In the next moment, Mira's shadow surged from behind Elucia. Her claws gathered dark currents and swiftly waved towards Hades, slashing out numerous claw shadows.

"Dark Torrent!"

The claw shadows transformed into a purple-black torrent, surrounding Hades. With a smirk, Hades' hand emitted a magic akin to a shockwave, scattering all the dark currents.

But Mira's assault wasn't over yet. Countless purple-black spheres shot out from her palm, all heading directly towards Hades.

"Dark Sparks!"

Hades swiftly swung his cloak, which exuded a powerful magical force, creating the sturdiest shield that completely enveloped him. The purple-black spheres landing on the cloak were as ordinary as fireworks. Apart from kicking up dust and emitting light, they served no further purpose.

"Goodness! They were completely useless?" Mira was shocked. In the next moment, a magical chain quickly hooked her, and with a forceful swing by Hades, she was thrown towards Calvin's direction.

Calvin quickly caught Mira, missing the prime opportunity for a counterattack.

But that was not an issue as Elucia and Laxus wouldn't let this slide. Both had approached Hades together.

Laxus' outer garments were torn, revealing his sturdy body covered in dragon scales. His massive fists were wrapped in lightning, continuing the offensive assault on Hades' face.

"Lightning Dragon's Smash Punch!"

On the other side, Elucia changed again, but this time she didn't wear any armor. She only wore wide red pants, with bandages wrapped around her chest. She held a longsword and swung it without reservation.

That longsword was the famous blade left behind by Banjou.

"Kite: Heavenly Flash!"

The blades' strikes were so swift that they seemed invisible, slicing across Hades' body in an instant, while the Lightning Dragon's fist made direct contact with his cheek.

"Did we succeed?" Elucia and Laxus had the same thought, but their premature joy was short-lived. Before they could react from their attack, numerous dense magical formations appeared around them.

Boom!

Hades had already distanced himself from the duo. Their combined strike only left shallow marks on Hades' body.

An explosion sent shockwaves into the sky, and two figures were thrown out, obviously Elucia and Laxus.

"This monster!" Calvin, seeing this, gritted his teeth fiercely. He ignored Elucia and Laxus, grasping two long blades and charging forward.

"Now, can I use that move?" The thought flashed through Calvin's mind rapidly, but he immediately focused, wielding the twin blades in a strange stance.

"Dual Blades: Sakura Flash!"

Blue-green and red-black blade energies flashed, swiftly cutting across Hades' waist and neck in indiscernible trajectories.

In an instant, Hades felt a palpitation but was already too late to dodge. He could only gather immense magic to cover his entire body, placing his hands in front of his neck to withstand the two strikes.

Splat!

Blood sprayed out, revealing deep sword scars on Hades' hands and waist.

"Damn brat!"

Furious, Hades bellowed. Stomping his foot, dozens of demons surged from the ground, rushing recklessly toward Calvin.

Moreover, with Hades' hands pointed together, seemingly without any movement, countless specks of light shot out, all aimed at Calvin who had just attacked.

Calvin's twin blades defended his vital areas. The sound of tapping, like raindrops, echoed as every single speck hit Calvin.

Thankfully, his attire had formidable defense. Though pushed back repeatedly by the strikes, he didn't sustain any severe injuries.

Hades attempted to take advantage, but Mira fiercely kicked him, halting his advance. She then leaped back a few steps, watching Hades vigilantly.

The other three recovered, stabilizing themselves, subtly encircling Hades from four directions.

Except for Mira, the other three bore injuries of varying degrees, momentarily catching their breath but keeping their eyes fixed firmly on Hades.

This intense offensive-defense battle finally paused for a brief moment.

"Can an elderly person over a hundred really pull off such moves?"

Calvin inwardly chuckled bitterly, realizing the enemy's strength exceeded his imagination.

"Even the Celestial Spirit King, Cenaine, would probably be at this level..."
