Chapter 1621: Falling into a Trap

Rylan Williams's car had long since left, and Peter Brown looked around the underground parking lot, where there wasn't a single person present.

Just as he was about to start the car, Peter's expression froze, and he stopped what he was doing.

Something wasn't right!

Peter felt that something had gone wrong somewhere.

Sitting inside the car, he meticulously recalled all the events, and then Peter's complexion changed. He quickly got out of the car, closed the door, locked the vehicle, and then headed for the elevator.

After reaching the first floor in the elevator, Peter simply walked out from there.

Upon arriving at a hotel across the street, Peter rented a room and moved in, then sat by the window and started observing.

Time passed by slowly, and there were no changes below the window.

However, although there were no changes, Peter was still there pondering over the matter.

The day's events seemed too casual, so casual that they felt almost fake!
