Chapter:4: Needle mouse: Happy

I wandered around for sometime before being teleported to a group, I looked everyone over, the ones that stood out were.

A nervous looking guy

A girl with a beast-bow, presumably powerless, cause not a lot of people will use a skill and a weapon, "she's probably powerless"

A shy girl who kept to herself

And a boy who was going around shaking everyone's hand, matter of fact he's running towards me.

With the positivity radiating out of him I couldn't help but give a smile, "Sup, I'm Xander" he said as he stopped in front of me and stretched his hand out, I took it and shook it saying "I'm Kobby" just as I let go he seemed surprised, "He tried something" Lucifer echoed in my head. I watched as he skipped over to the shy girl and a dialogue commenced, the chat was a rather short chat and the girl turned away from Xander, he in turn placed a hand on her shoulder then heard Lucifer shouting "If you don't want him injured stop him". I sprinted towards them but reached a tad late, the girl turned around and covered Xander's hand in molten lava, it obeyed her and not traveled far from her hand, I grabbed her hand and yanked it away, the lava moved off of Xander on to my shoulder and into her body, all while holding Xander's mouth to not draw much attention. Whiles staring in the eyes of the girl I said " If you plan on making anyone suffer know that, that's my job, and I will know" before half dragging Xander behind a bush, "Are you ok?" I asked, Xander seemed amused before pain registered, I looked at his hand to elbow which was half melted and said "That's just a burn mark" due to Lucifer pushing me to show my powers. Xander of course was surprised when I said so and even more when I pulled a syringe out of thin air and stabbed the closest skin near his surviving elbow, he looked me over when his hand came back like nothing happened, we managed to get to the group before we got teleported to go for testing.

Those who went first weren't really special, especially since I've seen their skills.

Rock, Air, Water and Strength, they got 'power levels 4,5,6 depending on their battle IQ. but when the nervous boy from before went, the reason for his nervousness was revealed, he was null (Powerless), they gave him a 'rank 1 rock book' and placed him in 'power level 1'. My turn. I informed them that I'm null but refused the rock book, "Don't use your powers, make them put you in a weak rank so that we, can scare everyone" Lucifer said, it was an idea I readily accepted. I did abysmal on the test and got put in 'power level 1' per the display on the watch. A wide smile broke on my face as I walked out, the hologram above showing me to be weak, everyone laughed as I was walked into the group, my head held high. Xander was confused and asked me "Why didn't you use your syringe?" I just responded by pulling a syringe out of the air then flicking it into a bush as if to say "Want it to be concealed".

Soon the girl with the beast bow was up, soon we all learnt no to judge to quickly as it turned out she has telekinesis, she got put in 'power level 5' the lava girl went and to not my surprise, or those that know what she can do, she used her lava to get placed in 'power level 8'. Xander was up " Wish me luck" he said tapping my shoulder before going to get tested, then I found out he's not normal, or a skill book user, but a special type
