Fortunately, although Mr. White was stingy, he was decent. He made sure to attend every dorm party on time and would pay his fair share. If anyone treated him to a meal, he would definitely return the favor.
However, out of consideration for him, they always chose street diners whenever they treated him.
Why are people stingy?
It all boils down to one word.
Poor.
If one were truly wealthy, they wouldn't bother with such trivial matters.
Therefore, it doesn't take a genius to figure out that Mr. White's stinginess must be due to his impoverished background.
How could a poor family possibly own three luxury cars at the same time!
