Jason's capsule finally opened and he was able to enter it.
He laid down face up and closed his eyes. Before long the notification came up
[logging into the world of WOW]
[welcome Arch]
Jason opened his eyes again to see himself next to a bunch of sleeping wolves. Jeffery was right on top of him, his face resting on Jason's chest, he snored slightly and muttered in a tired voice
"snakoessssss.... ehehehehehe"
It was still barely morning so Jason didn't want to wake up the entire pack. He tried to quietly and slowly roll the slumbering Jeffery off of his chest. Unfortunately, Jeffery's eyes snapped open the moment Jason placed his hands on him. He looked at Jason curiously and was about to ask what was going on in his loud voice before Jason clamped his mouth shut.
Jeffery just looked at Jason confused until Jason whispered to Jeffery quietly.
"I don't want to wake up the rest, 2 snakoes if you continue sleeping"
Jeffery promptly collapsed and played dead. Jason could even hear him desperately trying to sleep muttering quietly
"zzzzzzzzzzzzz"
Jason quietly laughed and sneaked out of the large circle of sleeping wolves. Being careful to not accidentally step on one of their snouts or limbs. When he was finally out he breathed a sigh of relief and was about to head out. A gruff familiar voice that was hushed stopped him though
"Hooman, I need to tell you something"
Jason turned around to see the Alpha wolf sitting quietly under a nearby tree. Diligently watching over the sleeping pack like a guardian that would fail to protect his loved ones.
He sneaked over to Jason and whispered to him quietly to not wake the other wolves.
"I looked around for the smells of the other wolves that Jeffery found. And I'm almost completely confident that they aren't any of the pack members scents"
Jason thought for a moment, he asked Boops while he was at it.
Finally, he came up with an answer
"if you do encounter a group of wolves, don't directly engage with them unless they are hostile, try and talk things out first, then tell me I want to talk with their leader if they have one"
The alpha wolf nodded and answered
"yes that sounds good"
The alpha wolf then returned back to the tree that he was under before, standing guard in case anything happened to the last people in his story that he cared about with all of his heart.
Jason, on the other hand, was only starting his. He quickly ran through the path to were he was sure Mark was waiting for him. His surroundings turned into a blur as he passed through the forest that separated the field to the first clearing that they had the little BBQ at.
Jason burst through the final clearing to where he saw a figure waiting for him. Wearing again simple adventurers gear, he sat on the ground drawing lazily with a stick on the ground.
Mark noticed Jason and turned around to shout at him with a grin
"your late, no need for the excuses I already know why"
Jason finally reached to where Mark was waiting for him. He stopped to catch his breath from the large sprint that he had just done. While he was doing that Mark started to comment on his lateness
"you know, I passed by your slumbering figure as I went to the field, I was really tempted to chuck you off into the lake, but I decided to pass by that decision. anyways welcome to your last 1 on 1 training day I hope you enjoyed it, blah blah blah you know what they always say, I'm going to teach you the last form the 6th form."
Mark pointed to the drawing that he had made with the stick in his hands. It was of a regular wooden stick slicing apart shiny swords and weapons that looked really expensive judging from the money signs Mark drew next to them.
"the 6th form is focusing on flexibility like the 4th form and is the coolest one of them all, trust me it is awesome to use"
Mark picked up the stick and pointed it towards Jason like a sword
" Flexibility is about adapting to new conditions so anything to being in a fricking volcano fighting fire elementals to doing an underwater dungeon. You have to be able to work with and win any of the battles that you encounter, alright I'm going to show you some moves that you will need to know"
Mark stood in front of Jason and started to swing his sword. Jason quickly stood up and followed his movements, Boops started to record and take notes of how Mark moved to make sure that everything that Jason was doing was correct.
While Jason was swinging his sword he noticed that most of the moves were very passive. From the swings that were made to counter block an attack to the defensive form that was made to reduce the amount of force, the user was made to take. All of it was very soft and there almost wasn't an ounce of attacking and only a tiny bit of defending there was only self-preservation.
Mark continued doing the form for a few more minutes until he stopped and asked Jason
"you got all of that right?"
Jason nodded and he sat down to start talking
"Alright, that was the basics of the form, the reason why it's so flexible is because it can mix with the other forms really easily. The basics are made to give yourself time to figure out what form or skill you are using without wasting any energy. Think of it as a platform for you to use when you face hard enemies to jump off of to fight."
Mark grinned and whispered to Jaso
"the best thing about this is when you have a really weak opponent, you can use something like a stick to block the attacks while looking like a total pro. All that you have to do is strengthen the stick and boom you can slice through the cheap things they call weapons and if you have enough speed you can even steal the weapons and they all give you this dumbfounded look that's fricking great."
Mark cackled to himself evilly.
Jason reviewed everything that he had learned in his head one more time. While Mark was thinking evil thoughts. Mark suddenly remembered something and looked at Jason with a grin then to the corners of the field.
"Hey Jason wait here I'm going to grab something, close your eyes while you're at it"
Jason with visible confusion did as he was told, he asked Boops what he was doing but Boops snickered and said that it was a secret.
Jason had a sinking bad feeling like before, but he still had his eyes closed as he heard Mark running all around the place.
Mark quickly ran to the corners of the field muttering to himself
"I can't believe I have to take them back, darn it, Ethan"
Mark had a controller in his hands and he dashed to the outside of the field before pressing it.
Jason's eyes were closed but a familiar white light went over his eyes. Jason dropped into a large ocean. The moment he touched the water he opened his eyes and started to look around in panic.
He had swum before but he wasn't the best at treading water. He looked around for some land to put his feet on but he couldn't find any.
He was a bid disoriented, but a loud voice came from the bright blue skies and he countied to tread water.
" one does not just simply learn the 6th form without being throw into unexpected situations. "
Jason looked around the land that he was in. He only saw ocean all around him, that and the occasional flock of seagulls flying above him. He could even smell the salt in the air and the water was pretty cold.
Jason suddenly felt shivers, he felt something brush past his legs, it felt slimy and long.
A sudden pull on his legs made Jason submerge deep underwater He opened his eyes, in the stinging seawater to see the largest octopus he had ever seen in front of him. Waving its tentacles in a threatening way.
Jason tried his best to ignore Boops who was ooh ing and ahh ing at the sight of the monstrous tentacle monster.
He pulled out his sword and tried to cut off the tentacle that was holding him underwater. Sadly he could barely muster a swing thanks to being underwater and having no oxygen. Jason swung, again and again, this time forcing all of the energy he could muster into each swing, he wasn't going to die in the first 30 seconds, absolutely no way.
Jason could hear Boops shouting at him
"don't die yet, I need more for research purposes"
