Chapter Thirteen

Brother, are you really going to let that human man Chao Xing study at Wudan Sect?" Qing Yang asked angrily.

"Mr Xing, "saved my life, he's the reason I'm still with you. He's also the reason the second heaven is in peace" Qing Fang explained. "Brother, think about it. How can a lowly human man from spring village be so skilled to heal you and your spirit core? Although I'm grateful he's the reason you are with me, still I can't pinpoint this. Brother I beg you don't be this careless" Yang spoke with a tone of resentment. "Qing Yang!!!" Fang yelled at his sister using excess force, pushing Qing Yang to the floor.

"If you're upset he ruined your birthday dress then simply let it go, it's just a dress which I can get when you wish. He's studying at Wudan Sect and that's it!!!" Fang said, storming at of the room irritated by the second.

"My lady, please stand up. Don't take it to heart. His lordship is probably in a bad mood!" Ni An said as she lent Qing Yang a hand in standing. "Ni An, my brother never raised his voice on me when I asked for something, he also pushed me down without realizing. All this year's I grew up by Lin Xiu side, I wanted to be a disciple of Wudan-sect, Lin Xiu refused, I begged for Lin Xiu bracelet, and he never let me wear it, but he gave it to Chao Xing with ease???" 

"My lady if you don't mind I can keep an eye on him? Perhaps he's nothing to worry about, don't ruin your mood for these little things. I know you've always admired his Lord-ship and I believe he does too, " Ni An consoled. 

'Master Lin Xiu called me to his manor, has he perhaps chosen to take me in as his disciple?' Chao Xing beamed with joy as he hurriedly ran to meet Lin Xiu.

Reaching the door, Xing came across Lin Xiu fury beast. It was roaming around Lin Xiu door, more like guarding the dog from intruder's.

Xing, however, ignored the beast because of it Smallish size. As he brought forth his hands to push the door open, the beast attacked his hands and bit Xing wrist, which caused Xing to save light bleeding.

Annoyed, Xing yelled at Lin's pet beast. "If I don't get hurt or irritated by that snobbish master of yours, then I'll suffer from a little beast like you. So much to suffer just because I am keen to learn Kung Fu! If I can't hurt Lin Xiu, I can most certainly get my revenge through you!" Xing said raged as he pointed his finger at the animal.

Surprisingly , the beast seemed to be laughing and enjoying Xing sudden outburst. 'Human! How dare you look down on me? I'm ten thousand years older than year by far and you disrespect me? Just watch, I'll teach you a lesson' The beast inwardly said.

Xing packed his hair into a bun and raised his hanfu rope above a bit to be able to run faster, as he was still adjusting to their fashion style. He picked some little rocks and threw it at the bird who dodge each one of the rock. The human and the beast ran in circled but yet, Xing couldn't harm it. He finally got tired to sat on the rocky floor, breathing heavily and biting his lips angrily.

'When I was in spring village, my life was never this complicated until Lin Xiu came in to the picture. I was too naive that I left my family and pursued that flying sword in the sky that night. Look at how pathetic I look now, even a little bird is playing tricks on me' Xing wondered sadly.

Lin Xiu was meditating inwardly in the dark, but couldn't concentrate due to the noise outside. After much deliberation, Lin Xiu opened the door and saw his pet right on top of Xing head. Lin beast sighted its master from afar, it quickly released his poop on Xing's head and appeared at Lin's feet, running its furry skin and snuggling him

"Eww" Chao Xing said as the poop slide from his head down to Xing's nose smelly

He stood up and confronted Xing with a stern expression.

"Master! Xing said as he Kowtowed to Lin.

You called for me, but your pet seems to dislike me and rather made things difficult for me" Xing complained

"No food or water should get in your mouth and one thousand and one squat at my door step until sunrise" Lin stated with all seriousness and in a blink of an eye he was back in his manor and the door slam at Xing face.

"Lin Xiu!!! You ice cube. How can you be so heartless? You claim to be a God in everyone's eyes, but the truth is, in reality, you're a demon. Xing yelled angrily

TSK, I won't do the squats, and I'll find my own way" Xing said, turning back to go to his room, but then a force shield made by Lin Xiu pushed him down on the rocky ground. Five needles appeared and pierced through Xing's right should and left shoulder, another at Xing's right knee and toe kneel and the last one at Xing's skull in the middle of his head. His body stiffened as he tried moving his body yet to no avail.

"Ice cube!! What have you done to me?" Xing questioned at Lin's door step.

"Do as I said, then you will be free from the paralyzing soul shattering needles or else your soul will be destroyed, and your bones cut bit by bit to pieces, and you'll be left dead," Lin threatened.

Chao Xing tried retaliating, but your pins gave him a sharp agonizing pain.

In the end, Xing decided to squat. At dawn Xing finished in the morning, the sun was still rising but Xing legs ended numb. Beads of sweat were all over his forehead and his body shaking.

Xing tried standing but fell down, weak and exhausted! Xing decided to crawl as Lin didn't intend to help him. He crawled with his stomach and his hands as support. His milky skin was bruised by the rocks on the floor and tainted with dirt.

He laid on his bed tired, weak, confused and sad, not because he suffered the punishment but because he missed Sui He and Yao. Their mischievousness came across Chao Xing mind. Flashes of his last encounter with them broke his heart again and again. "Mom, Yao Yao, Sui He and Bai, don't worry, please hold on a bit, and I'll come rescue you from the hands of those demons. For you all, I'll endure every pain inflicted by theses horrid Immortals and I swear I'll be stronger than before." Xing said softly.

Lin came out of his room but didn't see Xing. A frown formed on his brows as he noticed the faint blood from Xing palm down to Xing room.

Xing fell asleep with his dirty clothing on but the. Accidentally caught a minor fever. Qing Fang came to see Xing, but then he saw an ill human. Just turn, Lin Xiu came in.

"AYY Lin Xiu!! What did you do to him? He's a fragile human. He's going to die if you make it tough on him." Qing Fang reprimanded.
