Least Expected

On his way to his father's place, Steve decided to call Gbenga his friend, and tell him that he might run late for their hangout.

"Guy, I'm on my way, are you there already?" Gbenga said as he answered the call.

"No I'm not, but I will be there soon, I need to stop by at my father's place to pick up a document," Steve said.

"Guy, it's weekend, which document are you going to pick up again?" Gbenga asked Steve.

"I need to work on it before our meeting on Monday, don't worry I won't waste time, I will meet you there soon," Steve assured Gbenga. 

"All right, remember drinks are on you today," Gbenga said.

"I haven't forgotten, I will see you soon," Steve said before he ended the call.

When Steve got to his father's place, he knocked on the front door, but his father didn't answer the door. Steve knew that he was around because he asked the gateman when he was driving in, and he told Steve that his father was inside.
