Curses : Part 1

In the room filled with different gods and goddesses, a man with a golden body stands and speaks about the future when his son will be born and he wants him to be brought here in this realm and trained as god for the new world.

"My proposal is this much.. Please regard it for the future's best and for the best of that realm too."

Suddenly a man with a dark face and golden ornaments stands and shouts.

"It is true that you think of good terms but taking a futile human for becoming a god is utter disrespect for us gods. Have you lost your reasoning, Guardian of Death?"

"Reasonings? Disrespects? How can you forget that we were even chosen from among humans?" Guardian shouts with reasoning.

"Enough!"

One of the oldest looking men in the corner of the room shouts.

Everyone becomes silent and sits down in their seats quietly. That old man walked towards the empty seat at the end of the table laid out there and sat in a very quirky way.

Stroking his beard, he looks at the orb in front.

"Elder Gino, May I…"

Before Guardian of Death finishes, Gino cuts him off.

"Hmmm? interesting... You are allowed to keep him and train..."

He says.

"Thank you!" Guardian thanks in joy only to be plunged in despair afterwards.

"But... if you can do it, that is..." Old man stands and walks out of the room.

Murmur and noises start around the room afterwards.

'What did he mean? Ha! Leave it be... it is a very happy moment. Lastly I got approval after so much planning and now only to wait for the right time.'

The Guardian thought inside and grinned happily.

...

In a sulky and dark room, a dim light is lit. A man is reading, turning the pages of a rusty and worn out book.

"Hmm? Yes this is what was prophesied three thousand years ago... Guardian of Death, you are going to bear a great responsibility..."

Old man is Gino, revealed with a book with dark stripes and golden pages. Weird languages and words in the shape of geometry. This is the language of their inner mechanism of ruling as gods.

"I never thought to see this era to be coming."

He then turns back and places it.

'Swoosh!'

A white light engulfs the book and library like room turns into a living room with liquors around.

'Knock!'

'Knock!'

A knock at the door and Gino suddenly stood up from his seat.

Sweats ran off his face like a river and spoke in a feared voice.

"W-who is there?"

'It's never felt like this. Is it Guardian of Death? Or…'

His thoughts were rampaging when a voice came to his ears.

"Gino, my friend. Nice to meet you. It's been ages and you've done very well all these time."

"Huh?! Curses Of Fate!! What are you doing here? Did the guards not stop you from coming in?"

"Guards! They too have fallen into the…"

As the voice was cut off, commotion outside grew loud and a sharp sound of metal striking on each other rang out and entered the room, baffling Gino.

He turns around and tries to speak…

"Curses Of Fate!!!! What have you done?"

Gino has a vague idea of what might happen but this is going to pull him into troublesome lengthy work.

"Huhuhuhu! Farewell my friend."

Slowly her aura disappears and Gino sits on his chair and contemplates his fate.

With an angry face, he looks towards the door and feels annoyed about commotion outside.

'Knock!'

Another knock at the door and Gino was not ready for any headache.

He waved his hands and blocked all the sounds coming from outside.

The door was not locked so a young soldier who usually guards outside came inside and started to tell everything what was happening but when he got no response, he tilted his head up and looked towards Gino.

After about an hour of waiting, he returned.

Gino heard his footsteps vanish and fade slowly into silence.

'Sigh!'

A long heavy hearted sigh let out of mouth and he stood up feeling down about the future which will bring something unexpected.

By the window, he looks out to the garden. Flowers are blooming but some are broken and some are dead. His emotions are now packed with uncertainty.

'Swoosh!'

'Bathump! Bathump!'

Suddenly with a familiar aura someone appears before him and opens his eyes.

Gino knelt down and hailed.

"Hail to the Creator Brahma! What a lucky fate I have that you blessed me with your arrival here in this lowly being!"

Hearing Gino's words, Brahma smiled and collected his aura and in a simple form, he walked towards him.

"Gino! Do you know about twenty five thousands years ago what had happened?"

Brahma's words struck Gino hard in his mind and his eyes grew wide.

"Lord!..."

"Yes! Gino! It's just a play of supreme. I cannot even do anything about it."

Brahma sits besides in the chair and materialises a book in his hands.

Gino was lost in the thoughts about the incident thousands of years ago.

"Gino!"

Brahma snaps him out to his senses and shows a page with a picture.

It was the whole body except its head. A person whose head is missing.

"Who is he?"

Gino asked curiously. He looked into Brahma's eyes directly and fell on the ground from the power rebound.

"Gino! It's my fault. The curse I had given to the supreme in anger thousands of divine years ago has come to its fruition. When he is born, it will change my fate as well. After his birth the whole cosmos will shake and a calamity will befall but due to his holy grace, a chance has come as a Guardian of Death and saved my face."

Gino stood gulping, feeling sucked and suffocated in his huge and thick aura.

Brahma stood and looked at his state.

"Gino! Keep it secret until the right time. Guardian of Death is the only hope to save the future from the Supreme's wrath."

Gino nods his head and faces the ground in respect.

'Swoosh!'

Brahma vanishes in the air and all the tension in the room dissipates.

"I thought it was simple but…"

Gino gasps thinking what would happen if even the creator cannot suffice the loss and prevent the future incoming.
