Strongest Man goes on a date

Their relationship was vague. He fancied her and he knew she did too. The real question would be why would she even like him? But their bond was close. It just that both of them weren't taking that final step. He thought to sort this relationship out before it gets any convoluted. By end of today's date, Richter had decided to confess to Mirajane.

Getting up from the bed, he went to bathroom and took off his bandages. The injuries were pretty much healed but still to hear he fainted for two whole days, he himself found it unbelievable. How can he become The Strongest Man like this, he felt he had to improve himself more.

After taking a shower, he wore the dress Mirajane had prepared for him. It was basically a blue tuxedo with low cut waist coat and a black tie. He felt weird wearing this one. He had been detached too long from the society since young due to transmigration and the situations that led him to go into forest. But even so he could feel that the tuxedo for a date was a bit too... exotic.

Well anyway he had a girl to satisfy today. He then waited for Mirajane for a while.

30 minutes later, she came outside.

She wore red 'Low High Knee One Piece' dress and a heel. She had her makeups and her hair a little bit wavy. She looked extremely gorgeous but Richter still felt that the dress code for their date was a bit off because she was carrying a lunchbox.

"Are we going to party or ballet in our date?" he asked.

"No, it's just going to be us." Mirajane felt a bit disappointed but she didn't show it.

Richter then said, "You look gorgeous in the dress, very beautiful but please change the heel. It will be very difficult for you to walk in that."

"You think so? Okay then." Agreeing to his request, she kept the heels in her hand bag, then wore her cute slippers.

Richter chuckled. It was such a mismatch with her dress but he found it cute.

"Do you find it comfortable?"

"Yes, these slippers are the most comfortable ones. Don't they look good?" She showed him her slippers.

Chuckling he answered, "Yes they do. They are really cute. You are really cute too."

She felt better. Her mood lifted up.

"Alright! Follow me."

"To Where?"

"Secret. You just have to follow me."

She then stuck near Richter, put her arm around his arm and gave him her lunchbox.

"You're going to carry this and be careful the contents inside may spill out."

She then pulled him along her way. Richter still couldn't figure out where she wanted to go. He couldn't figure out how did this date happened in the first place. Looking at her happily waving to the neighbour's, he felt she was in a happy mood today.

'Well as long as she is happy and having fun.' That's what he felt. Since, the date already began, stop thinking complex stuff and enjoy it with her.

She took him to the cafe nearby where they drank tea and ate a cake for their breakfast.

'A cake for breakfast? Definitely not good.' Thought Richter.

They went sightseeing around their town. There were multiple pubs he didn't know about which she told him. She knew towns area like the back of her hand. She also let him know about the restructuring system which was put due to Gildarts. She then made him follow her to trace the restructuring system. That turned into a chase between her and Richter. Richter had to pointlessly run in tuxedo after her.

"How were you running in that dress?"

"Shut up! You can't ask me that question." A bit embarrassed, she shut him up. Both of them hadn't realised where they had come. They were at the centre of the town. There's a fountain where Richter previously climbed to use his echolocation for his very first quest.

It was a popular dating spot due to it's position at the centre of the town and the presence of a park nearby. Multiple couples were being intimate. Richter felt a bit awkward. The way Mirajane was right now, timid and embarrassed, he could make some move on her but let's not do that. He held her hand and brought her to the park since he had been here before.

She took out a folded cloth from her handbag, unfolded it under a tree. They then sat peacefully, enjoying the lake side view or more like pond side view.

"You even brought the carpet? Wow!"

"I came prepared you know. Now time for lunch."

"Wait! I will buy some water and drinks. Ohohoho! Mirajane homemade lunch, I am excited."

"You always eat it though...."

"The atmosphere is different today okay!... I will be back shortly."

Richter then ran in full speed to get the drinks. Both of them were hungry and thirsty with their running around the town. So Richter brought both water and drinks as fast as he could.

Here, Mirajane had everything ready. The lunch she had prepared was noodles, sandwich and egg. A bit weird combo for lunch but the quantity made up for it and it was delicious. Richter gobbled them up and also gobbled up Mirajane sandwich. Mirajane slightly beat him up. How dare he steal her sandwich!

After making their stomachs full, they decided to take some rest. Under Mirajane's order he kept his head on her lap to take a fast nap. Mirajane kept playing with his golden hair.

She then asked, "Richter what do you plan to do in future?"

"After I become S class mage, I plan to take 100 year quest and travel around the world."

"Don't you want to settle down?" She asked.

"After I finish that quest, I will settle down. Open up a convenience store and live a carefree life. What does Mirajane want to do in future?"

Cupping his cheeks, she brought her own face close to his.

"Stay close to me and you will find out."

Both of them stared at each other. Richter found her too beautiful. She was cute and beautiful. But Richter knew he couldn't be impulsive. His future and hers were different. For him, she wasn't just anime waifu anymore. For a momentary pleasure, he couldn't ruin her life. Richter didn't believe in long distance relationships.

'Ah! I want to hold her. Alas! Our destiny is different.' He had to be clear with her.

"Mira, I-"

Mira immediately shut him up by keeping her finger on his mouth.

"Shhh! Call me Mirajane."

Richter complied, "Mirajane, I-"

But ahe again shut him up.

"Shhh! No talking."

And kissed his forehead.

'Fuck! I want to hold her.' His heart didn't want to let her go. She was too tempting.

Both of them stayed like that for moments till Richter fell asleep.

After 15-20 minutes later, Richter woke up. Realising he was still asleep on her lap, he was about to remove his head from there but Mirajane stopped him and pushed his head back on her lap.

"Your legs will become numb Mirajane."

"You worry too much, Richter. Sometimes you should be more selfish and forceful with me."

"That's..." He didn't know what to say. Is she a masochist or sadist, he could never tell.

"What should we do now?" He tried divert her attention .

"We are going shopping now. And you will be the one to pay."

"What!? How am I going to pay the rent? This is bullying. I want to complain."

"Fufufufu! You can't complain. This is punishment."

Playfully arguing with her, he took her to shopping street for clothes. He came here once to buy clothes with Macao. And now he is here with Mirajane.

"Mirajane?"

"Hmmm!?"

"We are here."

"Oh! Fufufufu how about you help me choose my dress?"

"Please! Spare me."

"No complaining."

For Richter this was pure torture, for his mental, physical and his wallet. Mirajane looked good in every single clothes. So, she took every clothes. And damn she was daring in some clothes. He nearly bled from his nose.

'Thank god, she didn't force me to choose her underwear. It took her hours, hours trying all those clothes. Damn where dies she gain all those energies from? But oh well as long as she have fun. That's all that matters.'

They spent some of their time touring around the shopping streets and buying stuff.

It got evening. The sun was setting. The sky lit red, it was a beautiful moment to see. But it also signified the end of their date. There was a comfortable silence between them as they returned to same house.

Richter changed out, took a bath and started reading some books. Mirajane called him for dinner by the time he was done reading. He noticed Elfman wasn't still home.

"Where's Elfman?"

"Didn't I tell you?"

"He's out with Natsu and others to celebrate welcoming party for the Erza's friends."

"Oh! You should have gone too."

She then brought the dinner onto the table for both of them and said as she served, "Then who will look after my macho genius?"

Hearing that from her, Richter felt a bit embarrassed but nonetheless happy.

"Itadakimasu!"

Saying that both of them started eating. No more words were said. Both of them silently ate and Richter returned to his room. He had decided to say his intentions today but he was stopped earlier during the date, now it was hard to bring it up. Especially today she was really happy.

'Maybe, I should just tell her later. I am feeling very tired too and sleepy.' Stretching he fell asleep on his bed.

After a certain moment,

*Creak

The door to Richter's room opened.

The sound of closing of the lock came. Then a sultry voice,

"This witch is going to eat you tonight."
