Noa, So-Rin, and Eden stood calmly, their hands raised as a sign that they were not threatening. "We come here with peace," Noa said carefully. "We just want to find out what's going on in this village."
Eden spoke up, "I used to live here."
Noa and So-Rin turned to Eden and realized that he had taken them to his hometown.
The man with gun was still watching them. "Really? What's you name?"
"My name is Eden. I left the village a couple years ago when the fire happened."
The strange man was still eyeing them suspiciously. However, when Eden revealed his identity and the reason he left the village when the fire broke out, the man's face became softer.
"I know about the fire," the man said, "But I don't really remember your face."
"Yes, I was still a child then." Eden nodded in understanding, remembering his past which was scarred by the tragedy. "I wouldn't be surprised if I wasn't recognized. A lot has changed since then."
