As Xue Qian checked into a hotel, she wondered if she should have used a fake name. Because if it had simply been her sister, she could have managed but Shawn was involved in this.

Shawn, as she walked into the room, she thought of the hurt that he had suddenly inflicted on her. Why did he have to do that to her? She had done everything for him. She had agreed to give up her career for him. Just so that he would be happy. The only thing she had asked of him was that he let her try and get this one award for one last time. Her eyes watered when she thought of the many sacrifices she had made for him. The many opportunities she had given up just so that she could accompany him when he asked. And this was what he had done for her. Setting her up to be humiliated...

Just as she placed the luggage in her room, Xie Eun received a frantic call from the nanny. "Madam.. Something is the matter. Sir has gathered his bodyguards inside the drawing room and is discussing something. I was just going to go to the kitchen to get the child a bottle of milk when I saw them. Madam, you need to hurry here. I somehow feel something is very wrong…"

Xue Qian felt a shiver race through her. Something really was the matter tonight. Shawn and Mian Mian decided to visit her suddenly and then were calling her. And even though she had just spoken to Shawn, he was definitely planning something. Usually, she was at home at this time. Maybe they wanted to harm her and take away Xue Min… "Nanny Heng, Please do me a favour. Open the window shades of the room and check if there are any people there."

Nanny Heng nodded and went to look, before whispering into the phone, " No madam…"

Xue Qian nodded and putting the bag back on her shoulder walked out of the hotel in a hurry as she said into the phone, " Nanny Heng, take the small stairs outside to bring Xue Min with you. Please be careful to not make any noise and bring her to the park near the intersection. I will be there in ten minutes. Please be careful to not alert anyone."

Nanny Heng gulped and wanted to ask what was going on but she could only gulp as she realized that Mister Shawn was too powerful a man and if he planned something then it could be dangerous. Without further ado, she collected the bag of necessities and picked up the sleeping baby before walking away hurriedly. She breathed a sigh of relief and then almost ran her way to the park.

She hid behind the a tree as she prayed fervently for the madam to arrive fast. She finally glimpsed the girl entering the park and rushed over to her just as the little baby woke up.

Handing Xue Min to her urgently Nanny Heng asked," Madam? What is going on?"

But she saw only a look of confusion on Xue Qian's face and knew that she too had no idea. " I don't know Miss Heng. I only discovered a few disturbing things about Shawn today and then this happened. Maybe I am over reacting and it is nothing.

Just then a loud sound echoed from the instrument in Nanny Heng's pocket and both the women jumped in fright before they realized that the sound was coming from the baby monitor, which Nanny Heng had mistakenly brought from home. Taking it out, they looked at the small screen in horror as several men barged into the little child's room, followed by Shawn and Mian Mian who was clinging to Shawn.

When they realized that the back door was open and no one was inside Mian Mian suddenly let out a scream and said hysterically," Shawn! They are not here! Do you think Qian Qian has discovered your plan to murder her and Xue Min tonight and has run away? How is that possible? What are we.."

Mian Mian was cut off before she could say anything as Shawn glared at her and said, "Shut up! Even the walls have ears. That nanny was here just thirty minutes ago. She could not have gone far. And my plan was fool proof. She could not have doubted me unless you have opened your big mouth and caused someone to alert her."

Trembling in terror, Mian Mian shook her head and dared not think of anything that she could have possibly done. She knew Shawn very well. If he thought that she was responsible for his loss, he would not let her live.

Meanwhile, Qian Qian was also trembling as cold sweat gathered over her forehead and chills ran down her spine. With frightened eyes, she said, "Miss Heng. Go. Run away. Or if you think you are a good actress, just let them think that you handed Xue Min to me and left, and you know nothing. Go."
