After arriving home, Sophia Cloud got out of the car, fuming.
Her limp made Leo Harrell couldn't help but laugh.
Leo Harrell's heart softened eventually, and he wished to offer support, but Sophia pushed his hand away sharply.
He had no choice but to silently follow behind her.
Once inside, the children were playing joyfully. Arthur Harrell suddenly paused his activity and asked in confusion, "Mom, Dad, weren't you two going to a party? Why are you back so soon?"
Sophia's eyes widened in shock as she instantly understood that Leo Harrell had deceived her. The children hadn't cried because they missed her at all, and Arthur Harrell was even unaware of it.
She turned and glared fiercely at Leo Harrell, "You! Leo Harrell, you've gone too far!"
The children were all looking at the two adults with surprise, clueless as to what had occurred.
Sophia continued to hobble back to her room.
