The 15 tiny creatures started dancing around. "Hot feet hot feet hot feet!" Soon you felt it. "Oh ow-" You started hopping to avoid your feet getting burned. The small dragon like creatures hopped a direction. You said "Screw it" And you followed them. You shouted and charged after them.
A big giant machine spouted out water, really hot water, and began to scrub thoroughly at the bricks. "EEEEE!" One creature wasn't able to keep up with the group. You sighed and started hopping back over. "Don't bite me I'm trying to save you." You say over the noise. The small dragon nods and you pick it up and start running. A dead end.
"Is that grown up enough for you Y/n?" Jareth asked while watching it. As much as it was funny watching you hop around like that, he still felt concerned. What if you didn't make it past this level? The others would give up, but this wasn't something you could give up on. This could turn into a life or death situation very easily. "YOU CAN DO IT!" Jack shouts encouragement, knowing you wouldn't hear him.
You continue hopping, your feet tired of having hot wet socks that would continue to burn you. All 15 dragons were perched on top of you. "Cool feet cool feet cool feet..." They all muttered contently. "Can you fly us out of here?" You asked the dragons. "No no no, we're too tiny." The one you rescued said. "Nyathil!" The rest crowed and jeered at him. You looked around and saw it was getting closer, and the water hotter. You ran towards it and climbed the straw, yelling in pain as you hoist yourself on to the plastic part and you sit down.
"Thank you!" They said and started to fly upwards and disappear. The small dragon huffed "They left and left and left." "I thought you couldn't fly." "I can't but they can." Nyathil said sadly. "You can stay with me then." You stand up and climb over the rest of the equipment. You get to the top and look around. "I'm scared of heights." Nyathil said. You saw the castle was close. That would be good. You slid down the fabric and ran through the water, ignoring the pain.
Jareth breathed a sigh of relief. Jack looked at Jareth "If she died, I would have killed you. Or died trying. Most likely died trying, you're half my height."
You came across a smaller garden and a big pipe. The pipe opens and you get ready to fight. Nyathil huffs smoke.
Sarah and Hoggle tumbles out. "Sarah? How did you get in here?" "Y/N!" She yelled and ran over to you and hugged you. "I'm so sorry. I'll never read from a book like that again. And I'm sorry I blamed you. But I fought a goblin and forced him to take me here and I got some swords, a scarf, water," You shudder. You really didn't want to do anything with water at the moment. She goes through the list and you sit down and take off your shoes and see how raw your feet looked. "It's okay Sarah. I forgive you. I would have taken your place anyway."
You hissed as you peeled the socks off. "I can help with that." Sarah says, clearly proud of herself for having the materials for this, and cuts the scarf into pieces and made makeshift socks and put it there. You left your favorite shoes there and continued on. "Are you sure you should be walking on your feet like that?" Sarah asked concerned. "We have..." You check your pocket watch "It's been 6 hours, we don't have time to worry about me."
"What did Y/n do anyway?" Jack asked. "She wished for you to go away, this is the consequences for her actions." Jareth said. He talked too much. "No she didn't. Sarah did." Jareth turns to Jack. "And you didn't think to say this earlier? All of this could have been avoided if someone said something," Now Jareth looks like a fool. "Y/n would have fought to take her place anyway. As I said. We stick up for each other. You would have both of them in your Labrynth anyway."
They walk through and hear a terrible howling. "Ah...GOODBYE!" Hoggle says. "Wait-" Sarah says. "Keep the jewels" "I thought we were friends!" Sarah said tearing up. "Hoggle ain't no ones friend. He should have looked out for himself, like everyone else. Hoggle is Hoggle's friend." Sarah huffs "Son of a bitch-" "Sarah!" You say looking at her.
"I'm 12, everyone has a potty mouth. Get over it." She said trying to avoid crying. You both walk through and see an Orangutan looking thing hanging upside down. "Orangutans are endangered." You said randomly. "What does that have to do with the fact they're torturing the poor thing?" Sarah asked. A rock hit her ankle. "Ow!" She looked down and picked it up. "Come on. Let's distract them." Sarah said and threw as hard as she could. The helmet shifted and the goblin started yelling "Hey! Who turned out the lights?" The biter at the end of the stick bit the other goblins behind. "HEy!" He yelped.
More rocks came and you both started chucking it at the guards. The guards ran off. "Orangutans are usually not aggressive towards humans, but we should keep 3 feet away just in case." "Everyones been friendly so far....besides the death tunnel, but come on. He's adorable."
You took a deep breath and decided to trust your cousins intuition. Monkeys were monkeys. They were harmless right? Monkeys were okay. No need to be afraid.
