Mobile Infantry

With Bear working on a bomb,we decide to head outside and hunt some Arachnids.

With Fox as as a scout, we didn't have to worry about getting in a ambush .

As we advance ,we saw more and more bugs ,but one big bug caught my attention.

That's a Tanker, a black bug that is huge, somewhere around 6-9 meters height (I think, if I'm wrong plese corect me).His size isn't that scary , but this bug has one ability that could be used for massacre and that's the ability to spray a stream of flammable, corrosive liquid from its head(mouth?).

Seeing that there's a Tanker near our cave, we become worried,but we can't do anything to it right now.

Fox:" Captain, we need to head back. We are almost surrendered by Arachnids . I don't know if they found us,but I don't want to wait and find."

T:"Captain we should retreat. We don't have the manpower necessary for this fight. Bur if you decide to fight ,I will follow you."

Fox:"Me too. If you want to fight , I'm here."

Hearing their words, I fell so proud,but I don't want to sacrifice our lives for nothing.

Kevin:"Let's go back. We need to prepare for worse. At least we will make a stand when we have the firepower."

As we finish our plan, we head back to the cave, but this time ,Fox suggested to follow another route. Her idea was a good one, because immediately after we decided to follow another route , the bugs appear on our first route.

T:"You literally saved our asses , thank you. Fox, if you want anything, I will try and help you."

Kevin:" Thank you Fox. You are our lucky star."

Fox:" Hehe, now I have T as my henchmen and Captain you should com-pen-sate me ."

When I heard her words, I could fell how my heart wave at me with a Good luck expression.

Kevin:" Ahem, we should move. I don't want to die on this planet."

Nodding at my words,we moved again.

Somewhere on Planet Lost

"We will starve to death if we don't find something to eat."

"Paul , we need water plus the fact that we will surely die if we don't find a way for us to leave this planet."

"Jessica's right . We are most likely the last survivors ,but this thing may be a curse rather than a blessing."

Paul:"The last five marines. I'm honored to fight together with you guys."

"Same for us." said two brothers

"Yan and Fang , you two are from right?"

Fang:"Yep, we were . Now we are survivors. Our platoon was killed in first wave."

As Fang spoke, a bear like man approach them. That man was Sergei , a Russian . He served in the army and after three years he decided to become a marine for the mobile infantry.

Sergei:" We need to leave . "

Paul:" Sergei , what's the rush?"

Sergei:" Bugs. Lots of them. We are fucked. I will fight to death."

Jessica:" We are together in this right?"

Sergei :" I'm happy to know that I have friends like you."

Back to Kevin

Fox:" Captain , I saw some soldiers up ahead. They are fighting Arachnids. Lots of them. Sooner or later ,they would be killed. "

T:" Captain , what should we do?Do you want to save them? Or should we leave them to their death?"

Hearing their words , I closed my eyes and sigh, I spoke

Kevin :" Maybe I'm a fool but I won't be a man that would use other people lives so he could survive. We'll go and help them."

"Sir, Yes Sir!"

Reward: 1)Two Tier One Power Armor {The fallout like power armor , I don't remember the name}- a better version of the know Power Armor(can deflect hits from low Arachnids , but can only deflect 50% from the warrior type)

3)Five new soldiers

Looking at the quest, I was dumbfounded.

Why? Well ,first thing first I didn't think I would get this kind of beginner gift. Secondly these two power armors would be a great upgrade to our forces and finally the organic exchanger that can turn dead Arachnids in food. With these rewards , how could I not help ? Don't get me wrong , I want to help them with or without rewards.

<Paul POV>

" I'm empty . Ammo anyone?" I yelled

"Catch it. Make it counts. " yelled Yan

So this how we die? What a way to die. At least I'm with my friends.

Paul:" I'm honored to die alongside you guys. Let's meet in hell."

As our ammo was depleted , we could only wait for our death, but when I saw the Arachnids in front of us , something miraculous happened. Shots come upon the bugs. As the Arachnids bodies keep piling up , we saw the hope.

<Kevin POV>

As we fire , I yelled at the group.

Kevin:" Come up here and keep your head down."

Seconds felt like years ,but after one minute , the group arrived by our side .

Kevin:" Pick some ammo and kill these bugs."

Paul's Group :" Yes sir."

Looking at them , I felt some sort of achievement ,but now isn't the time.

Kevin:" Marines , WHO WE ARE?"

All:" Mobile Infantry ."

Ten minutes later, you could see eight people on the ground , clearly exhausted ,but happy.

Well Kevin was the happiest person right now. Not only he complet the quest , he gained five more level ups and with them another five privates .

As Kevin was lost in his thoughts, Paul approach him.

Paul:" Thank you for your help. I'm Paul and they are Sergei, Jessica , Yan and Fang. Sir... we would want to join you. Of course only if you want?" as he spoke , Paul pointed at every member as he call their name and when he mentioned the fact that they want to join me his face was sightly pale.

Kevin :" Haha. I'm honored to have you as my brothers and sisters in arms . "

Paul's Group was excited by the news , but they didn't celebrate yet.

Fox:" Captain , we need to move ASAP. Bugs are coming , we can't fight them this time."

Kevin:"Let's go at our base."
