Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

More Than A Monument

~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: Northern Pole, Dagobah)~~~

Nella and I step off the ship, and the same feeling from when we first landed on Dagobah hits. Dagobah's northern and southern poles are just as warm and wet as the equator. Something I can only attribute to its connection with The Force.

The place I'm being drawn to is about half a mile ahead, and we landed at the closest open area.

It takes us a few minutes longer than it should since Nella has to take breaks here and there from the exertion of Force Energy. Force Augmentation is a subject she struggles with. Many do. Only the most powerful sensitives can augment their bodies with The Force.

My attention is pulled to a familiar aura that I've experienced somewhere before. That's when we find a pyramid buried under old vines and the growing jungle.

"Told you we'd find something up here!!"

My cousin is excited, and I don't blame her. The entrance to the pyramid is at the top, after a long staircase. My hand reaches out, and I use The Force to remove the vines and surrounding jungle. Forcing room for the pyramid.

She starts to climb the stairs, and I follow behind her. Once we reach the top entrance, my lightsaber flies into my hand, and I ignite it. Proving light as we descend into the pyramid. The Force here is strong. Stronger than anywhere on the planet.

"Stay close to me, Nella. I don't know what could pop out here. The Force is smothering."

This location is messing with my senses a bit. I can only guess what's causing it, but I won't waste time thinking about answers I won't get right now. Nella follows close at my side and has her lightsaber out too.

The yellow glow from mine and her blue one mix. After an hour of just following path after path that leads nowhere, we eventually enter a chamber.

As we step into it, Nella nearly passes out from the pressure being released from the center of the room. I use The Force to carry her at my side as she losses consciousness. Her lightsaber floats at my side, helping light the area.

My eyes land on the object releasing all the power, and I recognize it immediately.

"Abeloth... My mother..."

It's a statue... Or some kind of monument in her honor... Looks like coming to Dagobah has led to something, but this is strange. I wouldn't have thought there would be anything left of my mother's influence on the galaxy.

To be fair, I'm her son, and I'm an influence in a way. Not to mention, Dagobah doesn't exist on any known star charts at this point. But there are some ancient people that know Abeloth. Even worshipped her as a God, it seems.

"I was wondering when you'd find this place."

The voice bounces around the chamber multiple times. I've heard it before. My mother has drawn me to this place. For what reason, I don't know.

"Yeah, been busy handling other things. But I've been trying to find you."

There is silence to my response. A sigh escapes my lips, and I can't help closing my eyes in disappointment. However, when I open them. The chamber is no longer dark, and there is a familiar ghostly look at the place.

I'm looking backward in time right now. At one point, this place was alive and had people in it.

"Long ago, when I made my first escape from my prison. Dagobah was the place I came to hide away from The Mortis Gods. When I arrived in this world, I met the people of this world that hadn't reached the stars yet. They thought me a God, come to save them."

My mother's voice begins again, and the scenery changes to a throne room. One where she's sitting on a throne. And her face is hidden by a veil. She's being served and treated like a Queen.

"What happened..."

My question obviously pertains to the death of the people in Dagobah. Given there are no records or evidence of life leaving this world, the correct assumption is to think they all died.

"The Father, The Son, and The Daughter came."

The world shifts to a view from the top of the temple, and I stand there. Watching the descending war in the sky.

"They brought great and terrible machines to seal me again. Destroying the people of this world in the process. Taking me back to my prison once captured."

This is starting to change my entire view of Abeloth and The Mortis Gods... And maybe that's the point... It's either a truth or a manipulation by my mother...
