Star Wars: A Single Wish

I don't own Star Wars. Disney owns Star Wars. This Fanfiction is something I have played around with for a very long time. In my head at least and I want to write some stuff about star wars. This is a wish fulfillment and I don't expect that to get through some of the thick skulls of readers. I won't be updating this regularly, and I wont be giving it a schedule. It's just something I'll write and update when I feel like it. This story isn't set in the skywalker saga, I don't want to get within a light year of that radioactive waste dump. While the original trilogy, clone wars, and mandolorian were excellent that's where the list ends. I don't want people writing reviews for this story, but I won't say you cant. I just want people to read a star wars fanfiction that is better then most out there. I wont lie I'm inspired by A New Player In The Force. However, my story wont be anything like that fanfiction though I really suggest you people read it. Its actually written by an educated teacher whos fighting leukemia. I won't bore you guys with anymore talk so I'll get right into the synopsis now. ------------------- A young boy, no older then 15 lies dying in his hospital bed. The reason he is here is because of the illness he inherited from his mother. He doesn't resent anything about his mother or what he got from her, only that his death be as quick. Before he rested his diseased body on this bed, he would comfort his mother while he could still be considered healthy. His mother passed fast compared to the rate he is going. The Opal family dies with him, and nothing can stop that. One of the things the two did was watch movies and T.V. shows, and their favorite was everything star wars. With Nathan Opal on his last day he is happy that his painful torment shall end. This is where the story begins.

~~~(POV: Nathen Opal)~~~
~~~(Location: The Jedi Temple, Coruscant)~~~

We enjoy the kiss for all it is and means to us. And there is a shift in The Force as we part our lips. Ripples appear around us, and I bring Eassa into my arms. Holding her. In the blink of an eye, we're falling through the sky and heading down into the ruined temple below us.

"What happened!?"

Eassa is still in my arms, and I adjust us in the air. We've got about 30 seconds before we hit the ground.

"Best guess is we were kicked back to now in the place we were! The spire of the council chambers is high in the sky! That means we're going to fall since we don't have it during our time!"

We're about to hit the ground, and I spin my body and adjust for a rough time. As my legs collide with the ground, I'm able to keep Eassa in my arms unharmed. But I've got bigger problems now that we've landed.

The ground I'm standing on is starting to crack and fall apart. My impact seems to have done some damage to the structure in the area. There is nowhere new to jump in sight that isn't about to collapse.

"Hang on tight!"

My warning for Eassa is just in time as the floor and entire area we're in collapses, and we're in free fall, going even deeper into the temple. I hold out my right hand as I hold Eassa with my left. White Force Lightning comes out.

Igniting the path below in light so I can actually see. The ground is fast approaching, and I correct my back again. Hitting the ground hard, but this time. No damage to the ground to the point it breaks apart, and we fall in.

Eassa makes her way out of my arms. We both get our lightsabers and turn them on. Lighting up the area.

"Where are we?"

I'm asking Eassa this since she's the one that memorized the blueprints for the old temple. She'd know what's down here. At least, I hope so.

The Force is weird here... I can't sense danger, and I can't sense where to go to get out of here...

Eassa looks around and heads to a wall. Holding her lightsaber up to give some light to the wall. There is an old and ancient language carved into the stone. I don't know what it is. I don't know enough about the Coruscant Jedi temple to know what this is.

"We're in the oldest parts of the temple... I don't know that much about it, but I do know that it's older than the temple and most of Coruscant itself. Sadly, the blueprints I memorized were modern ones. Not ones that go back to this point."

Well, it looks like we've got to find a way out of here. I look up, and there is an option up there. Coming back the way we came in. It wouldn't be hard for me to cover that distance in a single jump. The real question is something different.

Do I want to?

This is a part of Star Wars I don't know about. History that I could learn. Being this deep in the temple was never discussed in the shows, games, or movies. Maybe some of the comics, but there are so many that I couldn't read them all.

"These ancient texts are indecipherable to me... You want to give it a try? You've always been special when it comes to written languages."

She steps aside and lets me take a crack at reading the text on the wall.

I use my lightsaber to give extra light, and I start from where I would think whatever is being told here would start.

[Let the Jedi and Sith who see this know... You have no idea the terror that lies beyond the stars. There are beings of great power out there. One, in particular, that will end all existence. We know not its name, only that it'll be the end of all life.]

I finish repeating what's on the wall, and Eassa leans closer in curiosity. Waiting for me to continue since there is more to read.

"What are you waiting for? Keep reading."

We have more in common when it comes to the pursuit of knowledge than most people know about. And I'm glad she's here with me. I don't know if Nella would be interested in this as much as we are.
