Amber

It was December. The coldest month. Some say it's the happiest time of the year. But not for Amber. Her mom always worked late nights at the hospital. The only time Amber would see her is when she would groggily walk through the door right before she had to leave for school.

Amber's POV

5:00 a.m.

BEEEP....BEEEP....BEEEP

I wake up to the sound of my obnoxious alarm. I turn it off and get up. Today I have my exams. I hate school, I have no friends and I get bullied. Taking off my clothes I turn on the shower. After scrubbing my hair and body I wrap my towel around myself. I get some clothes on and head to the kitchen. I start to prepare my lunch. I don't eat breakfast. It will make me fat. Gathering my things I head out the door to school. West Moore Highschool.
