Amanda stood up as the call ended.

She had never expected Louis to ditch her and left on his own, and he didn't even let her know!

To be honest, she had already known from the start that he had no intentions to adapt her novel into a television series, and all he wanted was to agitate Wyonna.

Amanda knew that he had never gotten over Wyonna at all. Otherwise, she wouldn't have been so guarded towards her.

Thinking about this, Amanda became even more determined to get into a relationship with Ivan Muller.

It's good that Louis had left because now she would be free to do whatever she wanted.

"My boyfriend said that he has some urgent matters to attend to and has already left...," Amanda said, seemingly disappointedly, as she returned the phone to Ivan.

"Now that I'm alone... you are too.... Director Ivan, why don't we have a drink and chat to ease our boredom?"

Then she leaned towards Ivan, her hand resting on his shoulder.
