(6.) The Break-In (Ava’s POV)

"There went our cover"

"Sorry, I"m clumsy" Ellie explained.

"Meh that's okay they would of figured it out anyway."

"I'll grab Astrid, you grab the other two" Ellie said getting out her splatershot pro.

I gave her a wink, "remember my sister still can fight, plus she is angry so yeah tie her as quick as you can first and stay in the shadows" I whispered, Ellie nodded. I got my sniper ready and we jumped on the roof, we were currently in the little underwater tunnel. I kicked the door open and grabbed Ellie by the jacket lifting her and me on a roof beam and then they attacked.

I jumped off the beam and grabbed Mason by the hoodie he started screaming and kicking around, I saw Ellie grab Astrid and take her hands to wrap them behind her back. We were still in the shadows and were wearing black so they shouldn't be able to recognize me. I heard Melody coming after me from behind, I backflipped as she swished underneath me then in mid-air I grabbed her by the shirt and tied her up next to Mason. I snapped signaling Ellie to put the inklight on, she light the beam on all of them. I stepped into the light and they all gasped.

"Great performance Ava" said Melody, being her positive self, "really! I agree to Melody!" said my sister sarcastically, I'm really going to get it when she can finally talk to me. Melody frowned. I pushed down on my earring and into the mic. "I've got the subjects copy, over"

Mason already past out and Astrid just kept staring at me with death glare with no emotion and one of her eyes that kept going red then white over and over, so I gave her a sly wink and threw a inkling puff at her. After that everything went dark...

(Astrids POV)

"Oh come on!" I heard Mason yell, my vision finally cleared and I saw Mason get out of his ropes then kicked the cell we are in "owwww!! It's a electric snow" screamed Mason, wow that was sad. "Electric snow???" asked Melody obviously confused

I could hear Ellie talking to someone it sounded like she was talking to Averlyn. "Wha-?" I heard Ellie saying behind the door, "Your too dumb to understand," Averlyn replied giggling. The door opened and Ellie walked in, Ava slowly came out behind her ewhile Melody then started humming a song till she noticed me and said "well, Ava was right you are a deep sleeper, good morning Ash."

"What's cracking calamari?" Ellie asked.

"Don't talk, aye and don't touch the walls" Ava said walking in from behind Ellie, I mumbled and said "a little too late for that obviously, don't you smell fried octopus..." and apparently the Ellie girl heard me and said "Is that what's on the menu?" Ellie said being confused, Mason in turn blushed of embarrassment, "and of course our most tech savvy inkling can't even understand a stupid electric cage" Melody said teasingly. Ava tapped on her mic and I heard someone say in it "clear"

"Sorry, let them out" Averlyn commanded Ellie.

The door opened when Ellie clicked her gemstone necklace, Ellie then helped Melody, and Mason up. Ava reached her hand out to me, so from my anger instincts I slapped her hand away. Ava looked hurt but she just shook her head and just walked away with the rest of them. For once I actually thought about how she felt she must be going through a lot of stress, and she actully knew this whole time....and right then and there I couldn't keep acting angry and started crying for the first I've in my life....

After 3 minutes, Averlyn walked in...she came down and was the big sister everyone wanted. Ava took my hand and squeezed it, Ava had her soft look back again, she looked calm. Ava brushed her hand in my messed up my hair... I Just kept my head down to embarrassed to even look at her. Averlyn knowing everything knew I didn't want to talk about she just gave me a hug and wiped my tears. Averlyn got up and held her hand out but this time I took it then we walked down the hall hand in hand going to find the rest of the group, but of course Melody being her nosy self was standing outside the door crying on how bootiful (not a mistake peeps) that was...and of course me being me backhanded her "get over it, Mel we have work to do," then she finally picked up the pace with me and my now forgiven sis, surprisingly.
