Ajax was losing it.
He had gone around smashing and breaking things around his house. He yelled and smashed bottles. He smashed glasses and wine bottles. Ajax did not care about the expenses to restore all that he was destroying. The only thing he was concerned about was the fury that he had to get out of his veins -- out of his blood.
He had been utterly disappointed by Joe. Ajax had not seen that coming. He had been in front of his fireplace with a wine glass in his hands and he had daydreamed about what he would do with the pendant -- about how he would hand it over to Hera. Ajax had not seen the possibility of Joe failing at all. He would have prepared for that.
