Spirit Orbs : Chronicles of Ra'as

Check out my new novel, My Mech System, it's way better than everything else I've ever written, hehe. ********* A twist of fate or more like an unexpected turn of events send four individuals on a journey across the realms of Ra'as, a world of superpowers and extraordinary individuals. An adventure that will put them against powerful foes and will enable them uncover the secrets behind the real origins of their world is about to begin. Unknown to our protagonists though is the fact that the threat of war looms over the Planet Ra'as with several factions getting into a struggle for the possession of the omnipotent device known as the Spirit orbs. An epic tale of love and loss, pain and suffering, despair and revenge awaits all those willing to embark on this adventure with our protagonists. *********************** Voting for my novel with power stones is greatly welcomed. Please vote for my book. :) Also add the novel to your library if you are enjoying it. :) Thanks in advance. Currently on hiatus... :)

Plans for a Jail break

TIME : 6:00PM

LOCATION : UNKNOWN ( ?????? )

Cheng, Karan and Armstrong sit across from each other with a round table in the middle.

"Have you found Jace??"

Cheng asks as he busies himself with making a cup of coffee.

"No, not yet, those detectives were pretty smart…. They kept Jace somewhere off the grid but don't worry we'll find him soon."

Karan says has he picks up his cup and takes a sip.

"And the thief??... What happened to him??"

Cheng takes a sip of his coffee and is pleased with his work.

"He is also at the penitentiary, I feel he might prove useful to us in the future He just needs a little conditioning to make things right."

Karan acknowledges the quality of the coffee has being pretty good while Armstrong did not bother to say a word throughout the ensuing conversation.

"Trust Karan to be taking such a risk with a rascal like Dan."

Armstrong thinks to himself as he recalls events of the night before

.....

Armstrong stands over Dan's unconscious body.

"Throw him into the fire let him burn with the rest of his beloved foster family."

Armstrong calls out to the guards but they are stopped by Karan.

"Leave him be, he might prove useful to us…. Why waste such a wonderful talent in such a gruesome way."

The guards look at Karan.

"so what do we do with him, sir??"

"Leave him here… make an anonymous call to the police department and tip them off about what happened here, I think some time in Calos city's penitentiary would help fix his childish mindset for the better."

Karan says as he walks away from the burning house amidst the screams of Hermit and his family…

...

Armstrong looks at Karan intently with Karan catching him staring.

"What??"

Armstrong shakes his head before replying.

"I hope you know what you're doing, I really hope you do"...….

TIME : 9:00PM

LOCATION : CALOS CITY PENITENTIARY

Sai sits at the prison medical bay as he is being tended to by the nurse on duty.

"How exactly did you get injured??" the nurse says as she tends to his injury.

"You know, the usual stuff" Sai replies with a shrug, the nurse looks up at him.

"No I don't know the usual stuff."

She says with a smile as she stretches out to get a bandage.

Sai looks at her with a keen eye, she looked pretty nice in her nursing attire which was a black dress with a white apron and a cap, gauging her even further, he put her age grade to be around twenty to twenty four.

"I think she might be able to help out, she looks pretty cool and with a little persuasion, I'm sure she'd be willing to help."

Sai mutters under his breath.

"Huh."

The nurse looks up at Sai like she had heard what he had muttered to himself.

"You're new here right??"

Sai asks with interest.

"Hmm, how do you know that??"

The nurse asks as she applies the final touches to closing up Sai's cut.

"Well I've been here a few times, not as a convict though but I have put quite a number of criminals in here."

Sai remarks with an air of pride.

"So you're a cop??"

The nurse rises and starts to pack up.

"Well yeah I'm a detective."

Sai says with a nod of his head.

"Really… so what's a hot shot detective like yourself doing in a place like this??"

The nurse questions flirtatiously.

"Well let's just say my detectiveing hit some bad people really hard and so they decided to get some payback."

The nurse measures him up with her eyes.

"so how long would you be here??"

Sai knows she's sizing him up but chooses not to acknowledge her flirtatious advances.

"Well I'm not sure if I'll be able to leave this place on time to take down the assholes that put me in here, so I'm thinking of escaping so as to bring them to justice."

the cute nurse let's out a healthy laugh.

"You can't be serious, right??"

she asks with a smile on her face which soon ceases when she realizes that Sai wasn't exactly joking.

"Wait, you're being serious right now?"

Sai nods his head on the affirmative to convince her.

"You know I can't just let you attempt a jail break, right."

The nurse responds with a suspicious look on her face.

"Maybe but I'm telling you because I need your help and I have a feeling that you might help when you've heard what I have to say."

Sai replies in a calm tone.

"Why exactly do you think I'd wanna help you, I mean it's basically a crime to attempt a jail break, what happens to me if I help you and you're caught, I'll be arrested for being an accomplice forget that if you are being serious about bad people being the reason you're here if they find out that I helped you escape they'd come for my head."

The nurse says with panic in her voice.

"I know it sounds scary and your career is at risk but you should think about the lives you'll be saving by helping I and my partner escape to bring down these bad guys once and for all… just think for a second that you helping me outta here is the breakthrough I need."

Sai responds with a plea in his voice.

"You don't understand, I'm not a detective or a cop OK, I'm a nurse and my job is to treat sick and injured people not help suspected criminals escape from their cells. For all I know you could just be another petty criminal trying to use his looks to impress me so I can help you escape your doomed fate here."

The nurse sounds upset and makes to leave but Sai holds her back.

"You have every reason to want to doubt me because you don't even know me but looking at you I can see you are an excellent judge of character, so I'm gonna leave it up to you to decide if you want to help me out or not."

Sai takes out a piece of paper and hands it the nurse, the nurse looks at the piece of paper in her hand and looks back at Sai, Sai looks at her nursing attire and sees her name tag.

"I trust you Rani and I know you'd end up doing the right thing."

He says as he leaves her hand and walks out of the infirmary….

"is she going to help us??"

Ilara asks with doubt in her eyes, "well I don't know, there are two ways about it; it's either she helps us escape or she rats us out to the guards, I really hope she picks the former."

Sai responds with a smile.

"One way or another, aye…. We have to get across to Dan and explain our plans to him."

Ilara remarks as she paces around the room after which Sai rises as well.

"I know I said that we might need Dan for our escape but I got to ask, do you think he'd be willing to escape with us??... Because I'm just looking at him and I'm thinking to myself, he has the power to break out any time he wants but he doesn't and is basically comfortable with staying here."

"What I'm more worried about is the fact that the D.O.D could get wind of his presence here and come for him, we need to leave this place before we are unable to do so anymore."

Ilara says with a worried look on her face.

Crow sits in an office and puts his leg on the desk in the office as he talks on the telephone with an unknown person.

"Everything is going well as planned, the scroll will soon be in my possession and I'll bring it back at once."

Crow says into the receiver.

"Good… It seems I did well in assigning you this task, you have not disappointed up until now so I put my faith in your skills, bring me that scroll no matter what."

The reply from the other side of the receiver is nothing short of menacing and terrifying.

"Of course, I will not fail you, I will deliver as instructed."

Crow replies as the line goes dead and he drops the telephone.

"I cannot fail now, not when I'm so close to my goal."
