I think we should accept the invitation

Sai lays on the bed thinking as Ilara showers in the bathroom, "hey babe, what do you think about what Yakob said at the shop" Sai asks, "well I don't know, it sounds like a really great offer but I don't know…" Ilara yells from the bathroom as water drops on the floor at a rapid pace.

"if we decide to go, we'll meet a lot of opposition there, strong ones to be precise" Sai remarks with sudden interest, the shower is turned off and water stops running, the bathroom door is pushed open with Ilara drying herself with a towel, "don't tell me you're scared of a little competition" Ilara comments with a chuckle.

"of course not, if anything, other entrants should be worried that they'll be going up against me" Sai replies with an air of pride, "oh my, I'm shaking in my boots" Ilara mocks Sai before continuing, "well anyways we shouldn't get cocky over this or else we might end up failing ", Sai sits up right on the bed and stares at Ilara with a raised eyebrow.

"does that mean we're gonna accept Yakob's offer of participating in the exams??", Ilara ruffles up her hair before turning to face Sai, "well yeah of course, did you think I'm going to pass off on such an offer, this basically helps me to reassert my goals and objectives…. Ever since I was a little girl, seeing my mom and dad help people the way they did, i told myself that I would do the same, one day I'll be able to help people in my own way and that became my dream; to help those that can't help themselves. When we found out the state the police force was in, I admit that I felt heartbroken that I wouldn't be able to fulfill that dream but now I know I'm getting another chance at that and I'm gonna grab it with both hands, I don't know if it's too much to ask for but I hope you can support me with this dream of mine".

Sai stares more intently at Ilara with a smile on his face, "of course I'll support you with everything I've got, I guess my dream is quite similar to that as well anyways" Sai remarks with a smile, "oh really and what is your dream if I may ask??" Ilara asks with a smirk, "to help you succeed and be happy because I basically owe my life to you…. If not for you I would still be a nobody with no goals in life but to be a delinquent" Sai replies causing Ilara to blush after which he rushes towards her and drags her to the bed.

Ilara let's a light yell has Sai drags her to bed and is left smiling as her and Sai lay adjacent from each other, "but we have two problems" Sai has a slight worry on his face, "what problems??" Ilara asks while playing with Sai's fingers, "well firstly, what about our investigation into Cheng, do we just abandon it??" Sai asks, "Of course not, if anything I feel that us passing the exams and getting into the D.O.D would be an advantage in our investigation" Ilara replies, "I guess you're right, being a powerful organization they might have more information on Cheng that would help us tire up all loose ends regarding the case" Sai remarks.

"Exactly, so now that I've answered that question, what's the other one?" Ilara asks with interest, " a third member, where the hell are we gonna get a third member that we can trust that's either a variant or weaponmaster, cause we both know the D.O.D don't take norms in their ranks due to the kind of foes they face" Sai replies.

"oh that… you don't have to worry about it, we already have a third member" Ilara remarks with ease as she makes to rise from the bed, "who's that??.... Do you know someone" Sai asks with interest, "of course and not only I, but you also know this person, need I remind you…." Ilara winks at Sai.

"oh no, you can't be serious…. Not him again" Sai is visibly disappointed, "what?? What's wrong with him…. He would be a great asset to us" Ilara replies with a smile on her face, "No baby, anyone but him…. Anyone but him"

Sai tries to fake a cry but is unsuccessful in his attempts and only ended up amusing Ilara with his antics, "you look so cute when you're trying to throw tantrums, it's just so adorable" Ilara comments with a chuckle, "I'm not cute" Sai says after which he matches into the bathroom feigning anger in his actions.
