"... And then clean up the swamp too..."
"Yes..."
Luther silently accepted the order as his presence slowly became darker too. Meanwhile, after a few hours, the old man was seen rushing back to his luxury mansion house. Along with the charm, he immediately closed himself into his bedroom.
"Hah! Haff! I finally have it! Finally have it! This charm! I finally have it!!!"
The old man celebrated and cheered again and again with a bright smile. As he fell onto his bed, he looked at the portrait of his wife and daughter hanging on the walls of his room.
"Hahaha!"
The old man cheered as he recalled the image of that man called 'Ray,' who recommended the shop with a smile. Immediately, he jumped back from the bed and, with just a few dim lights left in the room, closed off the lights. He took out the charm as a circular, complicated mark over the corner of his eyes glowed for a moment in dark green light, and the Phantom Commune Charm was immediately burnt to ashes.
"Dear..."
Suddenly, the old man heard that old voice in front of him as he slowly noticed himself as his wife's phantom started to materialize right in front of him.
"Dear, is that really you?"
His wife questioned in an emotionally stunned tone. The old man was also left emotional for a second, and while slowly approaching him, he suddenly grabbed his wife's throat out of absolutely nowhere.
"D-dear!? Ack!? What are you-!?"
"You unloyal bitch!!! Return me my money! Tell me where you took it before dying! Where is my money?! That fucking 1 billion! One fucking Billion!!! It took my three generations to build that wealth!!!! Where is it!? Where is it!!!"
The old man suddenly started to shake up that phantom of his wife, while his wife seemed to be going through that extreme level of struggle for her life as he kept struggling.
"Ack! Please! I-i!!!"
"Shut the hell up! Return my money! Give it back!!!"
The old man cursed again and threw his wife on the floor, but this time, as he was about to stomp over her, suddenly he noticed someone grabbing his throat from the back.
"Huh?"
"Well, it's as Sir expected..."
Luther was suddenly seen standing behind him. The old man was absolutely stunned, but the next second, Luther smashed him to the floor.
"Kuagh!!!"
The old man's glasses were crushed in a moment as he screamed in pain, but Luther just scoffed as he bent down and smashed the old man's face again on the ground.
"Apologies to the wife... As if!"
"You!? Ack! How did you!!!"
The old man struggled with his words, with his face pressed onto the ground, but Luther just scoffed as he pressed him even tighter and commented.
"I don't even need to..."
"Fuck! You messed with the wrong guy!!!"
The old man was suddenly enraged, as the next second, suddenly the Soulmark at the corner of his eyes started to shine. A circular blade formed besides his head and immediately rushed towards Luther's throat to slice it down in one go.
"What are you doing?"
But the next second, the old man was left stunned beyond words as that skill of his turned into dust-like particles before even touching Luther. He immediately shouted in panic.
"Wait?! What!? My Soulmark is Tier 4!? Just how!?!"
"Who knows?"
Luther scoffed, and his hand completely crushed the old man's head as he stood up, wiping blood with clean white clothes. Taking a glance at the phantom of that woman with glowing red eyes, he just commented.
"The daughter is safe... Reincarnate with peace of mind..."
"Wait?! How can a person not use the 'Phantom Commune Charm' to see the dead?!"
The woman was left stunned as she saw Luther communicating directly with her. On the other hand, Luther just scoffed as he replied.
"Who knows?"
As he said that, a dark wave of aura rushed out of him. As soon as that wave touched the woman, her phantom vanished into light particles, but with a glow of peace on her face. Luther quietly moved out of the room and went directly over to the brushed TV in the hall. His arms passed right through the TV as he took out three Black Bank Cards with golden designs on them.
"1 Billion Funds, Successfully Acquired."
Luther smiled coldly and placed those cards into his inner coat pockets. Next, he went to the study room of the mansion. After checking a few drawers, he successfully took out a few papers and records. After glancing at them, he placed them back where they were.
"It's going as per Sir's plan, but things have started to change right about now... 'They' have started to move."
Luther frowned, tightened his tie, and quietly left the place. He walked right in front of all servants and guards, but it felt like he was some ghost, and no person even sensed him walking away. In a few minutes, Luther quietly returned to the shop where Kaer was seen sitting at his seat, waiting for his arrival.
"How was it?"
"The task was completed, but the forces have started to move. The upcoming months don't look so good."
Hearing Luther's reply, Kaer didn't seem much surprised and commented, "Well, that's a bit faster response than expected. I thought working quietly would work out, but they are quicker to catch on than expected."
Luther nodded and explained again, "The main problem might be the Noble Society, Sir. High nobles might actually be better this time because their overly broad pride and fear are falling from fame. But these bunches of rich people and low nobles like baron or viscount, these people will be the first to fall down."
"Well, guess we are changing strategies now. We are going offensive too then. That Mercenary Kyle, let's push the matter. We have no time. He either proves his worth or just dies as he was supposed to..."
Luther nodded and left as he took out his phone and released a message to a certain person named 'Ray.' At the same time, the other man was seen grinning as he saw that message from Luther.
