Chapter 427 ( Germinate )

It seemed that his recruits could 'recruit' other characters, but unlike him, they were more like summoning, like the [Cards] he had gotten in [Dragons Rioting]. Tatenashi obviously recruited her younger sister, though she did so to maintain communications, and not to make her fight, after all, she didn't want Kanzashi to be in danger because of her.

Houki, on the other hand, managed to recruit the strange red-haired girl after practically annihilating her with just her katana. Her name was Velvet Hell, and like Kyōka, she had enormous potential for close combat with her fists, and this was amplified by her [IS].

Chifuyu obviously recruited Ichika, though she was honestly not comfortable with the idea of putting him in danger, so her situation was similar to Tatenashi's.

Cecilia recruited Huang Lingyin (Aka. Rin) because she wasn't a bad girl, and she was sure that Ichika would feel bad about leaving her behind.

Ren recruited her younger sister after talking to her calmly while Erin recruited Meru.

Finally, Kyōka recruited Rintarō simply because he was strong.

The other girls didn't recruit anyone, which honestly relieved Cloud because he didn't want so many people in this place, at least not for now.

With the new acquisition of 'recruits', life on the island became a little livelier.

Tatenashi and her sister were training with all their energy.

Takashi was surprised to see such a variety of beautiful girls.

Meru and Rintarō were having their first time together, or spending time alone on the beach of the island.

He slowly looked at his [Cards] and noticed how they seemed to have no time limit, though unlike his recruits' [Summons] which were infinite, the uses of his [Cards] were limited, though this was offset by the fact that their limits were per world, in other words, he could use them unlimited times as long as he was within the world he first used them in, though when he left said world, this counter was reduced, and did not return when he entered the same world again. This meant that if he used a counter in his home world, when he went to another dimension this counter would be reduced by one, but when he returned, he would have to use another counter in order to summon his characters in his home world.

"And the number of times I can use my cards, is 5" - Cloud muttered as he frowned at this, only to shake his head - "Never mind, after all, the best plan is to use my own strength to complete the challenges."

Cloud watched as the 'recruits' turned into particles of light and disappeared into the sky before watching as the girls began to work or train on their own.

"Cloud, we need to talk" - Celestine said as she appeared behind the blonde.

Cloud gave the woman a glance, only to notice how Olga stood beside him with a serious expression on her beautiful face.

He nodded calmly before following the women, after all, it was obvious that whatever they wanted to talk about, it was important if they had those expressions.

Cloud raised an eyebrow as he reached the centre of the island's forest, after all, he could feel the mana of the world beginning to concentrate in this place.

Carefully, he looked in the direction where the mana was concentrating, and saw how the destination of all that energy, was none other than a small mound of earth - "The [Seed]?"
