I4 Into the void

"The shuttle is ready sir." En exited voice ftom mechanical room announced exitedly.

"We have upgraded the shuttle to be able to explore even a black hole. The shielding is evolvable ... all thanks to our new friends. " the exited engender added.

When I heard this I sent the order of my hand picked team to go and extract the mecha.

To explain of how a metal was able to become moldable I need to read the report from the engineering team.

They found out that the Jell-o people were literally micro souls that live inside any metal. They use that metal as a body.

The most amazing thing is that they can change that metal into anything they wanted.

Their favorite food turn out to be seawater and they use it to breed. At the end of their life they clump up togeger and form solid metal frames.

So in orther word the mechs that are culling the void are there long gone relatives who died to form them.

But the problem is that the same mecha also hurt and damage their children by emitting a week death police.

All the robots were in such numbers that the fate of the next generations were in danger of dying.

That's why they need help to remove them and save thier species.

Many Jell-O people integrated onto the ship already and realy love it. As Several more moved into the shuttle, weapons and engineering. The fact that humanity had axes to oseans was a big reason why the Jell-o people were literally begging to be a part of humanity.

We can revive their entire race!

After reading the entire Jell-O situation several times. and making sure that nothing was missed. I went over the ships upgres and changes due to Jell-O ability to change metal.

Using human ingenuity and metal flexibility every single wepon was on the list for upgrading.

But no matter how exited the engineering department to let the Jell-O people to upgrade the engine and other essential equipment was. Pickard did not want to surrender the entire ship to another creature influence, no matter how much you can trust them. so far only the basic and secondry areas were given access to the jello people to upgrade under the wachfull eyes of B;ade on every step.

Blade sistemeticly sent updates on the proses of the upgrades in a live feed just to be safe.

"sir the waygroup is loaded and ready for takeoff." the bay technishian anouned. 

"Come back back safe." Picard calmly ordered to watch the departure with a small crinkled frown on his face. He was a little worried about their safety but wanted to show confidence on his face at the same time.

Inside the shuttle:

A small group of explorers included two doctors, two scientists l, two mechanics, two military guys and a team leader. This last minute group of people was not used to working together and didn't know each other strengths and weaknesses. But not a single face showed discomfort.

Rex the sub comander was in charge of this the first human unknown space fenominom.

The first step into the unusual was history making. He was super excited and had to keep his head cool just to keep holding all that pure joy in.

"Keep our heading to the nearest meck. We will use it to test the best safe way to move it." His tone had a hard time hiding his mood.

The small ship carefully dove into the void running all their scanning equipment at maximum. Nothing smaller than an atom was missed within 1100 feet of the ship and after that is slowly began to disperse with less precise measurements.

The foggy gray men's swallowed the ship and didn't do anything unusual to it as it dove deeper towards the nearest metal robot.

Within a mile the ship parked just inches away from a large metal figure in a human shape floating in the gue. It had armored like plating, knee high armored boots, and blue sea through energy tipe gloves. On its head a floating halo made of the same tipe of every as the gloves rotated slowly glowing blue.

Thus angelic shape metal bot held a pair of large lightsabers on its back.

It's tatal hight was the same as the shuttle long.

"It's huge... " someone whistled out.

"Ok let's try using the deflector beam starting with the lowest setting" a mechanic suggested as the simplest solution.

But to everyone's shock a mechanical voice exploded from the speaker.

The eyes of the metal anje lights up blue and it automatically flew to the main ship dock.

"Who did it choose?" A confused tone echoed inside the cramped space Suttle.

We can check this later.. we're here to save some Jell-O people and hopefully one of them will choose us." Rex made everyone eyes glare in hope as his hend points in the direction of hundreds of energy signals.

With hope they flew from one robot to another as each one was armored with different types of wepons and equipment. Besides that each one also had a different type of energy in their eyes. So many colors.l

Every time the shuttle almost touched one of them. The same robot messages echoed inside as it was sent into the main loading dock.

But when they closer to a hard block as knight robot that was twice the size as normal something different happened.

After this showing developed the huge meck hovered in a defensive position protecting the shuttle.

It didn't move like the rest did

In the end a total of 400 driver units and 200 defensive units have been added to the crew.
