A little history of one's self

Helen had teleported them to the guest house which consisted of many rooms for new students and the staff of the school. It covered a small portion of the easten side of the castle, Kia was given medical treatment, food and a room to sleep. Helen had told her to sleep because tomorrow, she would be learning a lot of things, Kia had taken a bath in a not so comfortable bathroom since she is wasn't used to the instruments they use, she wore a light pink nightgown and laid on the bed. She looked up at the ceilings admiring the paintings but at the same time thinking of her family's reaction if they didn't see her in her room, she felt awful at that moment and thought of it half the night before sleeping off.

A tickling sensitation on her nostrils woke her up, she sneezed twice and looked at what was in front of her. The creature was small like the size of her middle finger and was golden colored all over her skin, freckles scattered all over her body and her two pairs of pointy transparent wings fluttered. She looked at Kia with her widened teal eyes and a smile on her face.

"Good morning Kia, how was your night"

"Huh? what are you? and....how do you know my name?" Kia asked with a drowsy voice.

"Well, my name is Elvie and I'm a pix"

"So Elvie, what are you doing here?"

"I'm here to help you prepare for school"

"Ohhh, okay" Kia smiled at Elvie. She got up and went to the bathroom, a bath was already prepared, it smelled like berries and pie which Kia loved. She inhaled deeply and released her breathe.

" I didn't know which one you'd like so I combined a lot of things in there" Elvie said slightly panicking.

" It's okay, so far acid is not in it" She said and moved inside, she was about to take off her night gown and dive into the bath before she remembered Elvie. Turning around, she saw Elvie looking at her anxiously with a gigantic smile on her face, Kia felt weird under her gaze and decided to send her out for privacy.

"Umm Elvie, I need to have my bath now"

"Okay" Elvie said and smiled

"Alone"

"Alone?"Elvie asked confused.

"Yes alone,as in by myself"

"Ohh, okay. Well, I'll be out here if you need me"

"Okay sure bye." Kia told her and then Elvie open the door and left. Closing it, Kia quickly took off the gown and entered the bath. It was slightly hot and calming. After the bath she went out of the bathroom and walked into the room. A black plated skirt with a white long sleeved packet shirt was on the bed. Kia looked at it and knew that it was what she is to wear, it reminded her of a time when her mother had forced her to wear something like that to impress someone because her fashion opinions were bad and stupid. Her mother had shut her up rudely in front of her cousins and told her that they were better than her right it front of them and when her mom had left, they laughed at her and joked about her with their friends. Kia had frowned at the memory and decided to not wear it, instead she looked though the wardrobe and saw a red sleeveless gown and wore it, she also saw a beige oversized hoodie and wore it. Black Adidas sneakers were on the shoe rack and she put them on lastly, she saw a cloche hat, a beige color with a red band on it. She looked at herself in the mirror and smiled at herself, knowing she had created an impressive work.

Kia moved out of the room and saw Elvie flying towards her, Elvie stopped, shocked by what she was seeing, she asked "didn't you see the clothes in brought for you?"

"yeah I did, but I wanted this" Kia said and smiled. Elvie nodded slowly and said "okay then, let's go, 'impiri teleporto' "and they vanished.

They arrived at a big room decorated with gold and silver, the furnitures looked exquisite and beautiful and as normal,the artistic paintings covered the ceilings and stalk of books were in shelves by the wall. Helen sat on one of the Sofa's drinking tea, she turned her view to Kia and almost choked on it, she then dropped it on the center table and stood up to examine Kia.

"Good morning" Kia said beaming happily

"Good... morning" Helen responded slowly "and why are you wearing this" she nodded towards Kia's clothes.

"Ohh, well I just like it"

"Hmm well it might be nice for you, but it's not a way to make a first time impression of yourself towards people you don't know. Thank you Elvie, you can leave" She said to the pix and she disappeared, Helen turned her view to Kia and frowned a bit but then showed a half smile on her face, a dimple appeared and disappeared immediately.

"Come, let's take a walk, impressions will be later"

"Alright" Kia smiled.

They walked through the halls of the school in silence, Kia looked around in amazement and curious right there and then, she had forgotten about her family and Helen, and all she could think of was the beautiful structure of the school.

" I knew you'd like here when you'll come" Kia turned her view to Helen and smiled meekly,

"Yes I do, but what's the connection between you and my grandma? you said you were friends but I've never seen you before, so how did you two meet?

"Well, it's a long story, but I cut it short for you, your grandma was a headmistress here and we became friends after our last fight against the rule of pythos, at that time, I was just a mage. The school needed someone who could use the caulderon last magic spell without a fault and that was when we both met while we were been attacked in a local tavren."

"A headmistress??!!, wow... just wow!!. and what's this descendant thing I heard of?"

"You mean you been the descendant of Mora'ne right?"

"Yeah, that person, who's she"

"The most powerful sorceress after the dark ages"

"Really?"

"Yes"

"So about the descendant thing, I don't understand, could you enlighten me on it?"

"There is a legend that reigned years after the death of Mora'ne that the owner of the crimson fire would be reborn again to block away the evils of the dark Master and it is believe that he or she would come here again to learn of everything that has and will happen"

"And that person is me right?"

"Well, I believe yes"

"So" Kia continued but not in a bright voice "does that mean that I have this unnecessary evil big guy I have to fight?"

"Not necessary but maybe in the future"

"So why did you come at my grandma's burial but not since, you said incase anything happens, was it because of her death or there is something else to her death?"

"Yes, there is more to her death and that's why you couldn't come here since, but now that you're here, I think things will be less difficult."

A silence drawed in slower than ever as they walked, Kia still had numerous questions to ask but before she could start again Helen stopped them and turned to her.

"Kia, I know you have a lot of questions about all this but now is not the right time for them, you'll learn about everything later. Right now, no one knows you're in this school except me which is dangerous for you so I'll have to introduce you to the Bureau of Sorcery to make you a legalized member of this school.

Right now, let's go choose your House."

"House?"
