As everyone recovered from the flash of dark light, they found themselves back in that room. Tails and Knuckles looked to be having the worst of it, but they were managing. "Wh-why would that happen?" Tails asked, devastated. Dizzy more over.

"I don't know, Tails..." Sonic sighed. "Nothing is right here. Scary things happen here. So that's why we need to get out and save Mobius. C'mon! Let's go!" Sonic exclaimed.

Tails, Knuckles and Buck all piled into the elevator, and talked amongst themselves. Sonja was about to go in too, when Sonic took hold of her hand. "Sonja... there's something I've been meaning to ask you for a while now."

"Oh? What is that?" She asked.

"Do you..." Sonic started, spinning his fingers around each other. "Do you think I'm just some character from a storybook?"

Sonja gasped. "Sonic... I..." She blurted. She looked down to the floor, ashamed of herself. She tried to find the right words to convey it, but... she couldn't pinpoint them. She looked at Sonic, who had a slightly saddened expression. She knew she had to say something. So she did.
