Chapter 11. The Plot in Cantury:

"WHAT!"

Dave was shocked when he was told the results. Yesterday Dave chased the assassins during the evening and even during night time. He even captured one and handed the assassin to the research center. However Dave was shocked when he was told what the Research center managed to get out of the interrogation. It seemed that the assassins were working with outdated data which is why they tried to breach in through the Wipers room. The Wipers weren't their targets at all, Until not too long ago the current Wipers room was just a storage room which shouldn't even have anyone inside. The target of the assassins was none other than Jorge himself. Jorge has many people who may want to kill him. First of all he was a merchant from a family of wealthy merchants giving both distant relatives and outsiders with a grudge a reason to want him dead. He was also the head of this research center so a new competitor or the owners of the Nellva research center may want him dead. To complicate things more the combination of his research center and his wealth and connections as a merchant make him one of the most powerful people in the city, with this anyone could see why someone may want to target Jorge.

There was a plot. The assassin didn't expose who hired him or where he got his information from. However he exposed that the traps that Donn and Dave got into were simply backups to help the assassins get rid of anyone who may chase them. The other captured assassins gave the same information.

After this nothing major happened the entire day. Dave was a wiper after all so he didn't get to do much. Since their room had a hole in its wall the wipers decided to try and fix it during their free time.

The problem is that they're entire day was free.

during this day and the following two days. They had already finished cleaning up their room and they finished patching up the wall and even painting it white again.

Now they had nothing to do but laze around and make silly jokes, and even sometimes fall asleep on their respective sofas.
