Solo Levelling: Perception

World: - Solo leveling Main heroine: - Sung Jinah Harem: - No **** A guy died and was granted skills and some mission to get reborn in the world where resides his fictional love and so he jumped without hesitation. He was trained to hone his skills and was left in the world of dungeons and monsters where death was as common as a daily sale. Yet, the boy found a way to live his leisurely life with his girl and see this world burn for all it could. ***** A/N: - This is a chill story and I would upload as much time as I get. No promises. There would be centric romance and would only turn harem if I get enough response. Skills would be cliche since I am not a true weeb but know my shit to write some decent fiction. English isn't my first language so expect some mistakes and if you want to criticize, then please make it worth checking. If I get enough responses, I would do a poll for harem members but no Cha Hae-In tho. Sung Jin Woo would die single that way.

Chapter 130- Shadow Monarch

Soon Reiji also arrived at the house and the two embraced their child for a good while—conveying how much they missed Haru through their tears.

Haru calmly consoled the two and assured them that he won't pull any other stunt like the previous one, anymore. He has gone through struggles and many changes in these few days—enough to make him realize the importance of a serene life with his family and lover.

Jinah took the chance to notify her parents and brother that Haru was awake now. Her mother instantly replied that they would be heading to Japan today with Jin-Woo.

'Finally, everything seems to be turning out fine....' Jinah heaved a long sigh of relief when suddenly she heard Haru's voice,

"Are you alright?" Seeing the three of them looking at her worryingly, made Jinah a little embarrassed.

"Y-yes...I was just texting Mom."

"Ah, yes. They have been concerned about your condition a lot and have visited you many times in these months." Yumiko informed him as she finally seemed to have calmed down a little.

Haru created tissue papers before wiping her cheeks and eyes.

Reiji smiled at the gesture as he voiced out, "We should celebrate your recovery once the Sung family arrives here. "

"Celebration can wait...Haru needs to fully recover for now. " Yumiko glared at her husband and the latter just raised his hands in defeat.

Haru chuckled at the exchange as he assured her, " I am completely fine Mom. The moment I regained consciousness I healed myself completely from head to toe. And if you still don't trust me then I will go through a full body check-up. "

Yumiko nodded. It wasn't like she didn't trust Haru, some things were required to be done for her assurance.

All of a sudden, Haru's body froze as he called out, "Mom, Dad....please step aside for a moment."

Yumiko frowned after hearing that but Reiji was quick to respond. Witnessing the subtle tension around Haru, he pulled his wife and stood aside. Jinah was anxious as well, for him to suddenly give such a call.

However, before Yumiko or Jinah could ask anything, a person appeared in the room through a portal and the whole room went extremely silent.

The Monarch of Shadow who possessed the Black Heart and have the possession of millions of Shadow Soldiers, appeared before Haru.

Two immortal beings, holding the capability to destroy planets in their wake were standing eye-to-eye.

The purple orbs of Jin-Woo flashed threateningly when he looked at the being standing in front of him. The intimidating aura and the humungous presence Jin-Woo felt from this being was far more potent than those Monarchs. If anything, then he had to stop his Shadow Soldiers from erupting out based on their instinct

However, Jin-Woo knew, this being was suppressing every bit of his power to appear like this. The reason was unnecessary to know.

However, the briefly clouded eyes of the Shadow Monarch were soon cleared up when a loud and complaining voice rang in his ears,

"Oppa! What are you doing?!"

Jin-Woo blinked...and blinked again. His eyes cleared up and he finally saw the figure of his sister currently shielding a man who definitely was familiar.

"....Haru?" Jin-Woo couldn't believe the being he just saw was none other than Haru.

However, the moment he realized his identity, Jin-Woo held no wariness and walked forward.

Haru smiled at that—thanking Jin-Woo's self-control to not begin a battle—before he responded,

"Long time, Sunbae. You have changed in these few months."

"I can say the same about you," Jin-Woo responded with a smirk as he heard Beru's voice from his shadow,

[My king! This existence is provoking you, the Great One! We shall wage a war!]

Jin-Woo sighed; deciding to put a halt on the TV dramas Beru had been recently binge-watching.

Jin-Woo patted the girl on the head before apologizing to her, "Sorry for that...I didn't mean to startle you."

Jinah's glare subdued as she felt the previous tension easing down. And seeing Haru also relaxing his tensed muscles, she heaved a sigh of relief.

"Seriously, Oppa...you scared me for a moment."

"Sorry about that. Anyways, Haru...how are you feeling? Any discomfort?"

"Nothing at all. Just a little hungry."

Yumiko's ears perked before she hurriedly said, "I will go and make something good! Just half an hour."

Before Haru could say, 'We should order something online' Yumiko made her way out of the room.

"Ah!" Suddenly Haru exclaimed before asking his father, "...how Mom understood Korean?"

Reiji answered his son's query, " She has been learning for the past few months since she wanted to talk to Jinah-san comfortably. Considering your mother has always been smart, it only took her a month and she was already understanding basic Korean."

"Damn..."

Seeing Haru raising his brows and admiring his mother, made Jinah a little jealous as she whispered in a very thin voice,

"...I also learned Japanese a little..." Those words were spoken in a broken accent and with some basic errors, but there was no denying that Jinah just spoke Japanese.

Haru chuckled at her adorable attempt as he said,

"Anta wa kawaii ne..." Jinah's face lit up with a crimson blush as she understood the meaning of those words.

Jin-Woo and Reiji chuckled at her reaction, making her even more embarrassed

"Mou~Haaaaaru...." She hid her face in his chest; denying to face anyone in her current state.

This exactly was the life Haru could sacrifice anything for.

After a few hours, once Haru was finally done with answering every question of his mother and meeting his in-laws he walked toward the balcony to get a breather.

Jinah and the others were still chatting and conversing mostly about him and the celebration which Reiji and Il-Hwan had planned.

The information about Haru's recovery has yet to be disclosed but it wouldn't last long. Once Haru steps out or calls anyone, the world would be in an uproar about his miraculous recovery.

The fact Haru has saved the world and many news channels and influential people have accepted the fact, has made him a worldwide known hero.

...but for him, it was simply tiresome.

"Should I just erase their memories?" The thought crossed his mind when suddenly Haru sensed someone approaching him.

"Are you feeling well?"

"Yep...what about you Sunbae? How does it feels to be a Monarch?" Haru asked nonchalantly while keeping his gaze on the passing vehicles on the street.

"You knew about me and my System all along right? And the fact that a Monarch's soul resides in me?"

Haru deemed it pointless to hide it anymore that's why he affirmed,

"Yeah, I knew. However since your origin didn't matter to me, I never brought it up."

Jin-Woo sighed hearing that. Such an answer...he could only expect from Haru.

"What about you? This sudden change?"

Haru raised his brows before he asked, "Will you believe me if I say that I am a God?"

"I have no reason to not believe in you. I could sense the abundance of energy you are concealing."

Haru wanted to chuckle. The mana he carries right now was nothing compared to his actual reserve—which he stores in a different dimension.

"Well...what happened when I was gone?"

Haru asked—evidentluy trying to change the subject

Jin-Woo also didn't insist on asking about it and said, "It's a long story."

Haru leaned on the window before responding, "Well, I am in no rush."

Jin-Woo nodded before he began telling Haru about the major incidents that occured while he was asleep,

"After you..."
