With an irritated groan, he and Hae-in disappeared in a burst of speed.

His sword released a Burst of flames as soon as it connected with the first wolf and others were caught in its Area of effect.

With a twist, he sent a kick to one's skull, shattering it. Using [Mana Impulse], He slammed his foot down, making a creator, disorienting the Monsters near him. Taking advantage of this, he swings his sword, cutting the Canines in half. The fire that burst through the first line, burned the others behind them, thanks to this, he got a glimpse of what gave him the uneasy feeling.

It looks like the Monarchs were messing with him... and they didn't have humans as hosts till later.
