A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. It was a sombre drive back to the Refugee camp.
The party hardly shared any words as they got back to the camp.
Buchannan and Elizabeth informed the camp officials of Robert's death when they arrived.
The camp went into a state of shock and mourning as the news spread through the camp. A wake was planned in his honour.
Korede and Temitope returned to their accommodation to 'rest'.
The others actually recommended the two visit the camp clinic for a proper check-up but they turned it down.
"So? Mind explaining what just happened?" Temitope asked as soon as they sat.
"I'm just as in the dark as you." Korede replied solemnly. "But Aon seems to know a lot."
