A group of Spec Ops operators are saved from the jaws of death by the intervention of the Supreme Law of Time. After waking from a coma, the team's leader finds himself bound to an alien symbiote. And thanks to the symbiote, the team is thrust into the hidden world of Will awakeners; individuals who use their Will to harness superhuman abilities. As if that wasn't bad enough, the team accidentally uncover a conspiracy by a powerful shadow organisation which then puts them in the central position in the fight against the organisation and their nefarious plans for the world. CH373: Rescue
The group left the camp.
They had the bare essentials.
Rifles, grenades, comms equipment, combat vest and a vehicle.
They met some hostiles along the way but they managed to dispatch them easily enough.
Thanks to Korede's early warnings, they were able to prepare for any incoming hostiles. These groups pretty much brought themselves over to serve as team bonding practice for Korede's party.
They arrived at the village a couple of hours after leaving the camp.
The signs of the carnage that occurred here were still visible. While the forces that passed through the village cleaned up the corpses and buried them in a mass grave behind the village, the blood stains and bullet-ridden walls told a vivid story.
