IT was… addictive to just watch him move his eyes, his fingers, and the switch between a frown and his usual expression. How entertaining.
"Stella."
She didn't answer, still dazedly staring at him and smirking subconsciously to herself.
"Stella." And on the third call of her name, she snapped out of it and whipped her head up to meet his peering gaze. "You're staring."
"Ye?" She blinked rapidly and quickly looked away from him to the floor. "Oh, uh, it's not what you think."
"What I think?"
She fidgeted with her hands, her teeth clenched in embarrassment. "It's nothing. I was just…bored."
"You're bored here too? I thought you said-"
"Not exactly bored, Valeric." She finally looked at him. "Just a tiny bit." She demonstrated with her fingers, and the man nodded, averting his gaze.
