'If you keep on denying that to yourself... You might lose her twice'

That statement didn't leave on Claude's memory. His mind went blank trying to digest those powerful words. That insolent young warlock dared to do this to the emperor? After what he has done to the young man, he deceives him?

Felix told him that he let him stay in his kingdom and even let Lucas become his daughter's playmate.

(If he only knew *sigh*)

Claude wanted to strangle that rascal's neck for trying to deceive him, but fortunately, Lucas managed to escape with his daughter.

'You might lose her twice'

The last sentence from the young warlock before he escaped with Athanasia echoed in his ears again. "Diana..." he whispered.

A throbbing pain suddenly pierced his head when he whispered that name. That painful memory that he chose and wanted to forget...

Suddenly appeared on his mind.

"Diana..." he again repeated while attempting to fight his headache.

"You're Majesty? What's happening to you?" A familiar voice suddenly asked him, It was Felix who just entered the room to check on his master.

"Where's the woman?" Claude suddenly asked.

"The Princess sent the Lady to her room with Lily" Felix immediately replied.

The pain on Claude's head suddenly disappeared, He instantly attempted to walk outside and look for the woman but his body is still weak and he almost fell to the floor.

"Your Highness!!!" Felix shouted. He was about to help Claude to stand up but the Emperor shoved Felix's hand and continued to walk. "Where are you planning to go?" Felix asked the Emperor, but Claude didn't plan to reply.

Claude wanted to use his power to teleport, but for some reasons, his body becomes weak that felt so drained.

Little did he know that it was also that young warlock's fault that he became so weak for today, who knows what was the Black Tower's Magician is planning? Maybe to make the reunion of the two long lost lovers more dramatic?

Every servant that would see the Emperor walking desperately would bow and greet Claude, but the man did not respond to any of them. It is not new to them but they noticed something different from the Emperor, he seemed absent-minded.

However, they cannot question the action of their Master so they kept in silence.

"Your Majesty did something happened?" Felix tried to ask.

"I need to see that woman" Claude replied to the knight.

That answer didn't even answer the question of the poor knight.

'Why would His Majesty want to see Lady Dianne? Did the Lady do something on his Majesty while they were in Siodonna?' Felix thought.

As soon as they finally reached the current palace of the princess, the emperor's speed of walking increased. He immediately directed his footsteps to the Princess' room.

"Your Majesty slow down..." Felix said.

While the two of them is getting closer to their route, A woman with a maid outfit suddenly appeared.

Lily startled when she saw the Emperor approaching the Princess' room. 'Oh no! Lady Diana' She thought. The tray with the Lipeh tea on her hand almost fell to the floor.

With no hesitation, she blocked the way of His Highness to greet him "Greetings to the sun of Obelia" She quickly said. "Y-your Majesty the princess is currently not in her room..."

"Scram" Claude replied.

"Your Majesty you can't enter the---"

"Don't hide your lady to me" Claude said in an icy chilling tone. "Get out of my way and make sure not to bother us"

Lilian's eyes went wide when she heard the Emperor. 'Impossible...' She thought. 'Did the Emperor discovered already?'

"Move" Claude ordered the poor Lilian.

The maid couldn't do anything but follow His Majesty's order and step aside. 'I need to inform the princess and the magician' Lily thought as she handled the tray to the other maid who happened to be here.

"Sir Felix..." Lily called the knight who was left by the Emperor. "Let's find the princess" She immediately grabbed the knights wrist as she dragged him away from that place.

"W--what's happening?" Felix asked Lily.

"There is no time to explain it to you, we need to find the princess and the young warlock" and the two left.

Meanwhile, Claude continues to walk to his planned route.

'You might lose her twice'

The voice of the young rascal bothered him again when he finally reached the room. He hesitantly raised his hand to open the door, but his hand stopped in the air.

'The cause of my destruction is behind this door'

'I've always wanted to ask you a lot of questions'

'Why did you leave? Why did you choose that tragic path? Why can't you choose me?'

'I've become so stupid and I've chosen to forget you'

'But now I can understand your intentions'

'Thank you for giving me the most beautiful gift'

The man gathered all of his mental strength to quietly open the door.

As soon the door opened a familiar long golden hair appeared in his sight.

And just like in his dream.

He saw the only woman who managed to bring Daylight into his life.

His Daylight Goddess.

Diana.

"Lily, how's Athanasia?" The woman suddenly asks as she thought that the maid is the one who entered.

"L-lily did you bring my tea?"

The woman turned her head showing her full appearance to the Emperor.

"I..." She muttered as she saw Claude staring at her.

The precious ruby eyes and the elegant golden hair of Diana... How can he forget her? How could he forget the goddess who brought Athy to life? If this is a dream then he doesn't want to wake up, If it is not then he is thankful to the person who enlightens him about the woman's identity.

But who is the person who enlightens him about Diana's identity?

He forgot and he does not care.

"G-greetings to the t-the sun of Obelia--" The woman attempted to greet him, but before she could finish her words...

He crossed the distance between him and the woman. His hands suddenly travelled to the rosy cheeks of Diana who seemed to be in shock.

"Your Majesty..."

"Diana..." he called her name. "Diana..."

His eyes were full of longing.

He doesn't know how it became possible, he doesn't know how did Diana ends up being here or how did she come back to life. Who cares about that when he only wanted to embrace the woman and lock her tightly into his arms?

He immediately pulls the woman into a tight hug. His mind is blank that he could only think of Diana.

They stayed in that position for a moment.

"You're here" He whispered to her. "Why? Why didn't you tell me? Why did you hide it from me?"

'How am I supposed to answer that?' Diana asked herself. 'He suddenly came here, it made me surprised...'

Diana bit her lips and did not dare to answer his questions. She doesn't know how to answer Claude's question. 'How come I cannot answer his questions when I am so blunt to him on our past meetings? Should I deny it?'

'But how can I lie to him when he looks like a lost child? Seeing him like this pains me, he is far from the Claude I wrote in my novel'

Diana unconsciously raised her arms to embrace Claude."How did you find out?" She asked him.

Claude hugged Diana even tighter. "Who cares about that? From the moment I saw you with my daughter I knew that you were someone familiar to me"

'He acknowledges that my Athy is his daughter did he somehow recovered from his amnesia? did Lucas and Athy found a way to fix Claude?' Diana thought 'BUT WAIT! What does he mean when he saw me with my dear Athanasia?!

"You even used a petty name to conceal your identity, how can I not suspect you?" Claude replied to her though he can't get rid of the thought that he's with his beloved now. "You teamed up with our daughter, lied that you have another child to me"

"You...you will pay for this"

"W-what?"

"You are not allowed to leave me anymore" He whispered to her. "And even if I do not care how did you come back, you have to explain everything about it to your husband... or else you will have to pay me with interest"
