Chapter 41

Walking out of the dining room, I see Vlad and Lana standing by the door. Nick is not with them and that makes me curious. Christopher is slightly behind me as we approach them with the others right behind him.

"Welcome to our home again. It seems you are missing someone," I say as we near them.

Lana smiles at me and pulls me into a hug. "He will be here soon. He had something that he had to do before coming here," she explains before Vlad pulls me to him in a hug as Lana hugs Christopher. This will take some getting used to.

"Would you like to wait until he gets here before we begin?" I ask them as Vlad releases me.

"No, that is not necessary since he already knows about what we will be discussing. He is actually gathering some information that we might need," Vlad says as he shakes everyone's hand.
