I look different

Now I know why they gasped I thought in awe. My wings, they were VERY different. They were black yet they simmered like they had a million stars blinking within them. My hair was also different, it did not have the usual Hellcat red flame hidden amongst Red, Black, or Brown locks.

My hair was silver and the contrasting flames were an ethereal blue. My skin was tan but unlike my dad's it held a slight glimmer like someone had sprayed insta glitter on it. My fur was silver as well with patches of black, in the same pattern style as my mom's. I had her eyes as well, and a small birthmark in the shape of a star on my right hip.

I looked unique, more so then I could ever dream of looking in my small clan of Hellcats. I suddenly felt self conscious, my tails wrapped around my legs as my wings unfurld and wrapped around my body.

"Whats wrong baby girl?" My mom asked gently like she knew why I was hiding. I peeked at her through my wings and sighed. "Mom, I'm not sure if you've noticed but you and I look Extremly different from the rest of the Hellcats." I knew I didn't have to stress that one word but I knew too that if I didn't she may try to pretend like what I was saying wasn't as big of a deal as I was making it.

Mom sighed too and waved her hand, the air shimmerd with a glossy look before going still around us. "You know I wanted to wait until after the trial to tell you, but Tashinshin just had to show you what you looked like first." Mom rolled her eyes as she said this giving a slight apologetic look at mother-in-law who was nearby and not paying attention to us. "The thing is you and I are....."

Debs voice this time blarred very loudly into my mind interrupting mom at that moment. The air also shimmerd again and whatever spell mom had cast was broken.

"Umm mom....." Her fingers went to my lip to shush them. "No, I shouldn't have. Tabrizia I'm sorry but there are things that I can't say right now. Possibly never until your older and your blessing is unlocked and you grow into your own and find out yourself. When that day comes we can talk I'm sure of it. Now, come nightfall is upon us."
