chapter one The Snake

hey I'm Olivia and I'm 16 years old and this is my story one day after school I was walking home and I decided to take a shortcut which you should never do if you watch scary movies a lot which I do and I know you should never take a dark alleyway because it doesn't lead to anything good but we had to stay at school a little longer today and my parents couldn't come pick me up so I didn't want to take longer getting home because I just wanted to get home and lay down so I knew there was a shortcut in the alley so I went that way and as I was walking through the alley I heard hissing like a snake not like a cat a snake at first I thought it was a cat hissing but it started sounding like a snake I know I'm not making any sense but I went and checked it out which I know I could have gotten bit if it was a snake or a cat I don't like when animals are hurt so I went and checked and there was a snake laying there hurt and a bird trying to pick it up and carry it away probably cuz it's thought it was a worm cuz it kept trying to Peck at it I didn't want either getting hurt so I decided very quickly that I needed to get the snake out of there before it gets hurt or before it hurts the bird I didn't want to Spook either though and them getting hurt or myself getting hurt so I carefully and gently pick up the snake
