An hour or so passed, and the day had finally ended with Jen's supplies having been completely sold out. It was to be expected, though. The shvt was delicious, after all. But still, it was something to celebrate, right?
"Good job, Jen," I found myself rubbing her hair with affection as I smiled. "You sold out."
"Y-Yeah..."
Damn, she's cute. Hmm... I feel like I'm forgetting something again... Oh right! "Say, what's the name of this town anyway?"
"You mean you've been here for two days and you still don't know?"
I chuckled at Jen's surprise as I ruffled her hair some more in retaliation. "Just answer the question, kid."
"Ow! Okay! Okay!"
Pouting as I removed my hand from her head, Jen seemed to put a hand on her chin as she turned to face me. "The name of this town? It's Sudern."
"Sudern, huh." Two syllables. Rolls of the mouth easily... "I like it. Thanks."
"No problem, Rouge."
"We'll continue the lesson tomorrow then!"
