Chapter 6 Meeting The Elites

It's been 3 weeks since the meeting with Prof Oak and a surprising amount of things have happened since then.

First I asked Agatha to arrange a meeting with the rest of the Elite 4 and ask them to take a day off as I want to take them to Sky Island and give them some gifts.

Secondly, Metagross has split off some Bedlams and started to form a colony. The Bedlams were gold like Metagross but without the runes, I think they'll appear over time as they evolve. However, this reminded me that my other Pokemon might be lonely and after consulting with them I decided to buy them mates and some youngling's for them to raise. Their mates were bought in their base form so that I could evolve them into their special forms the same as my original Pokemon however I only leveled them up to level 90 so that my Archeology team would remain the Alphas of their packs.

Thirdly my Gatcha spat out something interesting a prototype Fossil Restoration Machine with its Blueprints. This is something I am going to be talking to Lance about as it seems like too much of a big deal for me to just patent and rent out as both Sliph and Devon were in a race to produce it.

I also decided to come up with some lore to justify why I should keep the island as my personal possession. To do that I used my system to forge some 'Ancient' documents that claim that the island was a safe house for Aura Guardians, and when there aren't any Guardians it goes into stasis until another person in its vicinity awakens its Aura. That person will become the owner of the island using an Aura signature as identification.

And finally, I completed my research paper and sent it to Prof Oak on the Aurorus and Tyrantrum lines which the Professor, true to his word, used alongside my field report from Grandpa Canyon to nominate me for the position as an assistant professor. Now all that is left is to wait for the peer review panel to judge whether it's worthy or not.

Now it was time for my meeting with the Elite 4.

Metagross teleported me to the Indigo Plateau to meet them.

"Morning Agatha"

"Brat why did you request a meeting so early and where are you planning to take us."

"I'm planning to take you to my new home and I got you here so early as there's a lot I need to go over with the Elite 4 so it might take a while."

"Fine brat but this better be worth it, all of the Elites have taken a day off work and we don't get many of them a year due to the importance of our jobs."

"Trust me, Agatha. It'll be worth it."

"Okay best let's get this meeting started." She said leading me to a meeting room.

"Lance, Lorelei, and Bruno meet Kai the kid who asked me to set up this meeting. Kai meets the Indigo Elite 4."

"Okay let's get down to business I recently awakened my Aura abilities," I said pushing my Aura to my eyes causing them to glow blue "Due to my Aura awakening I ended up in possession of a large quantity of land that is currently inaccessible to anyone that isn't me."

"Kai wait," said Agatha cutting me off "When did this happen?"

"First day of my journey I awakened my Aura and woke up in a place I had no clue where I was or how I got there." I said as I started handing out Sky Island teleport badges "Please crush this and it will teleport you to the land that I woke up in." As I crushed mine causing me to flash and disappear.

I stood in front of my house where the teleport badge is registered to teleport to and waited for the Elites to get here.

Surprisingly Agatha was the first to appear, it made me feel really good that she appeared first as it meant no matter how she acts she trusts me.

"Alright brat where are we" she said after the other Elites had arrived.

"Ladies and gentlemen," I said raising my arms theatrically "welcome to Sky Island."

"Thank you," Said Lance "But what do you mean by Sky Island"

"This Island floats above the ground, I'll take you to the edge after the meeting to prove that to you. This Island was originally a sanctuary for Aura Guardians either, when they retired or got injured however due to the lack of people with Aura capabilities the island went dormant. That was luckily for me as when I awoke my Aura it teleported me here directly and made my Aura signature the primary on the island."

" I see," said Lance "That's nice and all but why did you bring us here?"

"Well, I want to legally own the island. I don't want someone to come along one day and say something like 'this island has been claimed by the indigo' and try to force me out."

"Kid Agatha could have just registered the island under your name as private property. You didn't need to bring us here." said Lance

"Actually I did. You see the island is covered in a variety of materials that are unique to the island"

"You mean like the metal you claimed you got from Mt Silver?" Said Agatha with a glare cutting me off.

"Yes like that one. You see there are a number of mines on the island that I want someone from the league to check out to see if the materials are useable."

"That makes sense," said Lance

"There's also some gifts that I want to hand out and I figured I'll kill 2 birds with 1 stone. Now everyone please follow me into the dining room" I said leading the 4 of them into my house.

"Now as you might not know I recently came into possession of a great deal of fossil Pokemon. I want to request you make Mt Moon a Pokemon reserve under the command of Pewter City so that I can release the majority of the friendly species there. Aside from this rather large collection, I found 2 species that have never been seen before. The 2 species are rock/ice types and rock/dragon types. I want to hand the ice types over to Lorelei and the dragon over to Lance and the Blackthorn Clan. I also have a rather powerful feral Aerodactyl that I also want to turn over to the Clan. None of these Pokemon have been fixed chemically and excluding the ones that want to live in the mines here I want to turn them over to you."

"Huh, I never thought I'd see the day that someone will give Blackthorn's a dragon-type Pokemon that they've never heard of." Laughed Agatha

"Hold on Agatha I don't know if the clan has never heard of the Pokemon for all I know the clan may have records of their existence in their archive."

"Kai, can we meet the Pokemon that will be going with us?" Asked Lorelei

"I'll show you the Pokemon after the meeting." I said responding to Lorelei " Now Agatha these are for you" I said throwing a keystone and a spare Gengar mega stone to her.

Catching the stones she looked at them "Kai do you know what these are?"

"Yep they're a keystone and mega stone for you to mega your Gengar," I said smugly as Lance sat up straight focusing on our conversation.

"Where did you get them?"

"The keystone is one of many that are on the island. The mega stone I found in Lavender Town."

"Do you not want to keep the mega stone for yourself after all you have a Gastly as your starter."

"I don't need it," I said tapping my foot against my shadow causing my mega Gengar to appear "I found 2, and as you can see we have the required bond."

Gasping in surprise she said "Kai you've been a trainer for less than 2 months how do you have a Gengar"

"You see ghost-type Pokemon can eat Aura as food, and as I grew up in Lavender town surrounded by ghost-type Pokemon eating my Aura. Luckily for me they were quite scared of the ghosts you left to protect the orphanage or I wouldn't have made it to adulthood. The ghosts regularly ate as much as they were allowed to causing my Aura reserves to bottom out regularly, and due to that my reserves ended up increasing over time. When I left Lavender town to start my journey I had a large amount of aura more than a common Aura Guardian had which is what the island picked up on. And my Ghastly eating large amounts of my Aura caused a rapid growth in stats, abilities, and moveset."

"Huh," said Agatha as she sat down to contemplate what I had just said.

"Now Bruno, I have 1 thing for you, 1 piece of advice and a few questions. Firstly why have you not awakened your Aura?"

"Aura can be awakened? I thought it was something you were born with?" Said Bruno confused

"No that's a common misconception you see only people with extremely large amounts of Aura can exhibit Aura usage from birth the majority of Aura Guardians had a Lucario awaken their Aura for them. Do you want yours to be awakened?"

"Huh, you learn something new every day. And I'd love to have my Aura awakened but don't you need a Lucario to awaken it?"

"No only the young who are not mature enough to get a Riolu get their Aura awoken by a Lucario. Due to your age and the amount of training you have received you can awaken it rather easily from training a Riolu." I said walking out of the room and opening my system I bought a Riolu egg with unlimited potential. Coming back into the room I handed it to Bruno and said " put one hand on the top, one on the bottom and try feel you Aura move" I said as I placed my hands over his and used my Aura to stimulate his.

Slowly Bruno's eyes and hands started to glow blue as his Aura awoke. "Congratulations Bruno you've awakened your Aura. Now all you need to do is place the egg in your lap and meditate for 1 hour a day channeling your Aura into the egg until it hatches and you can start learning the really cool stuff" I said grinning

Smiling Bruno stood up placed one hand over the other and bowed "Kai I can't thank you enough for this I wanted to be an Aura Guardian when I was a child but due to the lack of information on them and Aura I eventually gave up hope of ever becoming one."

"Bruno you are not a guardian yet you're an Aura adept. An adept is someone who has unlocked Aura. To become a guardian there are 2 things you need. A Lucario and the ability to use Aura Sphere. Train hard Bruno you'll have the qualifications in a year or 2"

"Now I also created this," I said showing them the Fossil Restoration Machine Blueprint "I have a full-sized working one in the basement so I can guarantee that it does work"

"Arceaus damn it Kai" Sighed Agatha "You really want to give us a lot of work."

"Not really I thought it would have been a lot harder to create as Devon and Sliph have spent so long and so much money trying to develop one. I originally intended for it to be a long-term project for me but I accidentally made one" I said smugly

"I'll patent it under your name but don't talk to Devon or Sliph without one of us or Samuel there with you as they will try to forcefully take the patent from you. As you said they've spent a lot of time and money trying to create one they wouldn't want to be shown up by a kid." said Lance

"Okay the serious stuff has been dealt with lets get started on the fun stuff," I said standing up and heading towards the door I said, "Now let's go collect the Pokemon that will be going with you."

Going out I showed Lorelei and Lance the Pokemon that will be going with them and their habitats. I also handed Lance the Aerodactyl in its Pokeball that I had caught in the mines.

After that I mentioned to Bruno "After you meet the criteria to qualify as an Aura guardian start teaching ONE of your Primate's rage fist and it will evolve into a ghost/fighting type, but don't do it until you have met the criteria, as ghosts eat Aura. As it isn't born a ghost type it will take a while before it can understand how much it can eat without causing you harm or killing you."

After that Agatha mega evolved her Gengar and patted me on my head thanking me.

then Agatha and I got into the Vagabond, I let Lance drive my GTR and we headed towards the north edge of the island to show them the water fall and clouds below.

After that Metagross teleported them back to the Plateau and I tucked in for the night.
