Two Full Moons

The silence filled the calm air. My eyes were wide open as the rest of the crew members slept. Baron breathed softly next to me. I embraced him tightly and rubbed my nose on his chest. Looking up at him like this I saw his face clearly for the first time. His eyelashes were long enough to put a girl's to shame. Baron's chest rose lightly as he breathed. Even while he was asleep, he was smiling. Despite the dark sky of the night, his face shone like the sun. Being next to him was too bright sometimes. I sighed. It was as if the Gods sculpted his face. I reached over and poked his cheek.

I pouted.

Where can I get skin as smooth as his?

I chuckled as I pulled his cheeks. A second later I felt strong hands clasp mine. Two emeralds looked into my eyes as a smirk appeared on Baron's face.

"How much longer are you going to continue to tease me, my dear?"

I flushed as I tried to break away from his grasp. He chuckled as he said.
