CHAPTER 9: MAKE A MOVE FAST

"Why don't we go to the room first before we start asking questions" Gianna said in awkward vioce as she was not sure if she should disrupt this tearful moment.

"Ok then, lead the way" Kiara said.

In the room

Madeline just finished drinking a glass of water that Gianna gave to her "thank you" Madeline said as she wiped her mouth with her hands.

Kiara could no longer contain her curiosity so she asked "Madeline what happened to your parents" Kiara was scared she would start crying again so she patted her back lightly to calm her down.

"Maybe I should give you guys some privacy" Gianna said after dropping the cup of water on the side table, she left the room immediately without giving anyone the chance to say anything.

After Gianna left the room Madeline finally opened up and told Kiara about everything that happened that day how she lost her father and became a slave.

"I'm so sorry for not being there for you when you needed me the most" she said as she hugged Madeline feeling really bad for not being there for her and only she knew how much Madeline cared for her dad she was his favorite and now losing him she couldn't imagine the pain Madeline was feeling inside.

"No, you don't have to be sorry for anything it's not your responsibility to care for me so you don't have to feel bad for not being with me" Madeline said as she pulled back from the hug to look at Kiara her best friend who had gone through heaven and Earth with her, who had stood by her side through thick and thin and fought for her whenever she was in trouble.

"How can you say that. You have stood by my side at my weakest point when I lost both my parents and was forced to leave with my evil aunty that thought I was her slave and treated me badly you were with me and always helped me in my time of need" Kiara said in an emotional voice as she couldn't stop the tears from gushing down her cheeks like raindrops as she remembered some painful memory.

Madeline also started crying again and they both hugged each as they cried thier eyes out.

After the tearful moment Madeline and Kiara fell into a deep sleep without a care of what was going on outside the room.

While outside the room Gianna tried her very best to stop this intruders from going inside to disturb the conversation going on inside as she knew it was very important for Madeline to talk to someone close to her so her heart would be at peace.

In front of her stood Diana and her followers as they tried thier very best to enter into the room but Gianna stood in front of them not letting them in.

A cold chuckle was heard from Diana as she crossed her hands around her chest shaking her head like she was looking at an ignorant fool "so you now feel you have the right to stop me from going anywhere I want just because you now have a new friend, you must be delusional to think that" Diana said in authoritative voice.

"Now get out of my way" Diana roared at her in a way that could make one tremble in fear and Gianna was no different but no more as they was a possibility of Diana being a fake so she just felt like she was watching a movie as she let out a long yawn feeling really bored.

Diana was shocked seeing this, Gianna has always been scared of her whenever she used this voice but today she actually yawned at her in boredom while she was talking to her even after using such authoritative voice what was going on she couldn't believe what she was seeing, was she really losing her power because of a new slave that didn't even have quarter as much power she had. No she had to eliminate her and fast.

Gianna was shocked seeing Diana turn around and left, this was unlike her she would never give up on an argument mostly an argument with a slave lower than her as she founed it to be an insult.

Diana walked through the long corridors towards her room in a hurry, after arriving at her room she pressed a button to call her maid in waiting into her room.

"My Lady" her maid in waiting said after entering the room with her head bowed downward to show respect.

"Immediately go and gather information on when the Lord will be coming back from his trip to Marha" Diana said in an urgent voice as she didn't have much time left she really needed to do something about this Madeline girl before it's too late or she had a feeling she might regrets it in the future.

After a while the maid in waiting came back to give her feedback "My Lady, the Lord will be back by this evening or tomorrow morning and he came back victoriously as he has conquered the kingdom of Marha and captured thier crown prince" the maid in waiting said with her head bowed.

"Good" Diana said with an evil glint in are eyes.
