Before I knew it, three days had passed and it was time to go pick up our clothes from madam Baldwin's shop. It now seemed like a waste. I ended up having all those meetings in plain clothes, so did I even need those fancy clothes for anything? Still, since I ordered them, I might as well enjoy them, and it wouldn't be right to renege on my payment after they're already made.
Looking in the mirror, I found that I looked pretty good in my new outfit. I'd never wear it back home because I would stand out too much as some historical relic, but here it fit right in and looked quite fashionable to boot. I looked over at Vivian, and found her stunning in her black and white outfit. Somehow, despite the conservative style of the dress, it managed to emphasize her chest in a subtle yet pleasing way. It was so overdone as to be eye-catching, but once I noticed them, the smooth round shapes were impossible to ignore. The design instantly won my approval.
